“Went for a family 50th birthday, pre booked online which was very easy to do. Tables ready as we arrived, staff attentive, very friendly and looked after us all really well. Food is lovely, catered for all ages and requirements. Staff even presented me with a birthday card and a beautiful dessert trio . Highly recommend.”

“I Ordered flowers from my daughter to her mum as she hadnt got any flowers for her for Mothers Day. It was super short notice as in 9am Mothers Day short notice but that didnt stop Occasion Flowers coming up with a beautiful bouquet of flowers for her. “Fantastic service and food. We had a birthday dinner for two and they made the birthday girl feel special. Ambiance was modern and luxurious. We had starters of arancini and croquettes that were delicious. Mains we opted for steaks that were perfect with a cherry & almond dessert. All of this was absolutely divine. “I went to Coal and Cotton twice within two weeks, first time with husband and sister in law, was atclynch time, so not too noisy, as it was lunch time. The atmosphere was quite but still lovely so you could talk. Went the second week with a friend for tea in the evening, was alot busier but still not too busy, so it was still a lovely atmosphere. The food is always lovely, I just think the main potions don't have to be so large. The only thing I was gutted was I forgot to use my loyalty card, I just think it would be a good idea if a member of staff could ask if you have a loyalty card.”

“I did put a review in on another site but I thought I’d get my Google one in, this was from a few months ago. This place was absolutely amazing and I really mean it, one of the best bars I’ve ever been to. The music was spot on and the decor was amazing. It really did embody Manchester at its finest. The bartender who opened up was class and quite hilarious and when the other ones turned up they were just the same. The cocktail menu is literally perfect and the ghostbuster sharer is just so worth the price it’s unreal. The only note I could make is that they don’t do food, if they did…. It could be a contender for the place place in Manchester but I understand it’s a bar not a restaurant and they don’t wanna expand by building a kitchen and hiring chefs etc.”

Will definitely return. Perfect venue for pre bridgewater Hall meal as its literally a 3 minute walk and there's a reasonably priced small ncp car park opposite ginos too.”
