“This store has recently gone under new ownership. The previous owners were alright but some of the staff working the tills weren't the friendliest. Now under the new ownership, I personally have noticed the man who is behind the counter is really friendly and nice and chats to you sometimes. He clearly cares about this store as I have seen him cleaning the exterior and interior of this store during my visits and the previous owners I never saw them doing this. The store has been upgraded quite a bit with more variety of items to choose from and the whole back section is now a fridge unit with tons of drinks and dairy products to choose from. Currently I think the store is heading in a better direction to what it used to be like under the previous owners and I hope the new owner stays and keeps up the good work as this little shop is a nice place to go to for majority of the items you would need for a small shop before getting a big shop in. Currently it really adds to this side of Handforth making it a nice alternative to walking into town to go to the little Tesco there or the spar for your small shop. Would definitely recommend this place and they also sell some items you probably wouldn't find elsewhere like I've seen Takis crisps which are from America. Overall a really nice little shop.”

She was bubbly with a happy go lucky personality. She even gave me a tip on warming the puff pastry mince pie that l bought. Lovely tip. “I feel the need to write this review due to the many unnecessary unfair reviews. I am writing this review to provide feedback on the experiences of my wife, who is a patient at Dr. Subramanian's practice. My wife has been a patient of Dr. Subramanian for many many years, and we wish to convey that she finds him to be an excellent and highly valued doctor. She is more than extremely satisfied with the care she receives and would not consider changing practices. Regarding her access to appointments, my wife has always been able to get an appointment when needed and has never encountered any difficulty in being seen. This is in stark contrast to my own doctors at the same health centre, where it can be impossible to get an appointment unless you book three weeks in advance. Despite the option to call at 8 am for a same-day appointment, I have found it nearly impossible to get through to the practice, which often just gives an out-of-service tone. This brings me to a common complaint I hear from people about potential delays to appointment times. I have observed that Dr. Subramanian often makes a significant effort to accommodate patients who present with urgent issues on the day. Furthermore, I have noticed that delays can also occur when patients require a double appointment but only book a standard one, or they present with multiple issues they need addressing. From what I can see, the doctor is very thorough and compassionate in addressing all of their concerns, which can sometimes extend beyond the scheduled time. While this might occasionally lead to waiting longer for a pre-booked appointment, I believe this reflects a true commitment to ensuring those with immediate needs are seen, and that everyone gets the time they need. This responsiveness for urgent matters is something I value greatly, as it is not always my understanding of how easy it is to access care at other practices. Overall, my wife and I are very happy with the care and accessibility provided by Dr. Subramanian. He is a credit to his profession.”
