“After moving to Manchester, we’ve never found somewhere that does authentic Chinese takeaway food that isn’t super overpriced until TODAY. Delicious food, big portions (be aware of big portions as we ended up with so much food) We ordered on Friday night and the food was ready quicker than expected and still very hot when we got home. We highly recommend crispy duck pancakes and sweet & sour chicken. 10/10 customer service, greeted by a very friendly lady at the shop and we had a quick chat. It was so lovely finding out that we’re supporting a small family owned business. We will definitely be back.”

“Fantastic food in the most unassuming place and location. The whole experience was smooth and food wasn't too spicy. What they have classed as 3 peppers out of 5 - I found rather mild. Really like the medium of building your own custom plate. It's a novelty, but very refreshing idea and gives you opportunity to taste a few things at once without spending crazy money on a single meal.”

“Helen street chippy is a fantastic chip shop in peel green. Located on the corner on Helen street. Parking is street parking only but I've never had an issue finding a place. The staff are nice. There's a cold drinks fridge at an average price. The chips are lovely. Two types of curry sauce. Always hot and tasty food. Would recommend and I'm a regular customer here”

“Being in my early 40s now and having many Chinese takeaways over 3 decades, this is absolutely hands down our favourite Chinese and the only place we get from now! As you can see in the pic the sweet and sour chicken melts in the mouth, very generous portions such as the salt and pepper chicken which is our favourite starter, super friendly and efficient staff and very reasonable prices, cannot recommend highly enough! The portions are big, especially the Kebabs they are very filling with nice tender meat all through, no gaps in the bread. The pricing is excellent and very generous for the quality of the amazing food. The portions are impressive and will hit the spot. I don't have any complaints. It is very tidy and clean. You can tell preparation for each meal they make it catered to with detail as you can see the kitchen in the back were all is prepared..
