Community pub in Manchester

“Thank you to Neil and Tim for allowing my mothers birthday party to be held in the hall. The party could not have gone any better and Tim was on hand to help out with anything. I moved away from Withington many years ago but such a shame that we did not have a venue like this whilst I was there. Nothing was too much for Tim to do for us at the party. Thank you again for everything. My mum had such a fantastic time and could only compliment the staff for everything that they did. Absolutely 5 star review!!!”

“A great little bar with a good selection of changing beers on draught and an extensive selection of bottled beers which you can also drink in the bar with a small additional charge. There is some outside seating too. Well worth a visit if you are in Prestwich.”

“We booked a table online for 10/9/25 and mentioned we would be bringing our well behaved dog.. Absolutely wonderful dining experience. The service was fantastic. The food was absolutely delicious. “A lovely little place that we visit every other Wednesday (unless Man Utd or City are on TV), where a gang of local musicians gather fortnightly to rehearse. The drinks are way cheaper than the pubs, and it's welcoming, comfortable, warm and friendly. If you're into snooker, there's a table upstairs too.”

“Food was SO good. Came with a friend, we were both craving Ethiopian, got the spicy doro wat and the mild lamb, and both were incredible. We practically licked the plates clean. The injera was clearly fresh and wonderfully spongy, lamb was very tender and doro wat is one of the best I’ve had outside Ethiopia. Food is reasonably priced, portions are generous, the decor is homely and our waiters were super friendly, will definitely drop by again next time!! :)”

“I had a wonderful experience at Jardim Restaurant! The fresh salads from the salad bar were crisp and full of flavor, the fries were perfectly cooked and delicious, and the steaks were tender and juicy. To finish, the chocolate marquise was absolutely divine – the perfect dessert! Highly recommend this place for both quality food and great atmosphere.”

“This is the second time I've been here, and it won't be the last time I'm back. The food and drink are great - amazing selection whether you're a vegetarian or not - but what really sealed the deal on both occasions I've been here is Joanna. What an absolutely fantastic host. Great memory, and very personable. The food is awesome - on every occasion I've been here it's been incredible. No matter how busy, the staff are attentive. Place is well laid out. “The service from jess at the front of the house and james in the kitchen was excellent. The beers were refreshing, and the food was exceptional. My steak was one of the best I've tasted, the highlight of my visit. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting.”

“We asked Emma at the Builders if we could organise a small party in the Pub for friends. She was very accommodating and organised sandwich platters for the guests. Its a great location for meeting with friends. The quality of the sandwiches was excellent with many comments for others on these. The drink range is really good and very affordable compared to other places in Knutsford. As the weather was nice we also got to enjoy the outside garden and heated terrace area. Overall a great experience. Thanks to Emma and the staff.”

“This place is five ⭐ stars!! Afternoon event for a Holy Communion! Food, atmosphere and staff all amazing. A sense that they all enjoy their work!! Very clean and probably the best breakfast food I’ve had in years! Perfection!! Value for money also was a 5/5!!!! My son who has autism enjoyed his food and ate it so that’s a big compliment!!! We will be back!!!”
