“What a lovely little restaurant. We ordered garlic bread with cheese - amazing. Then cannelloni and risotto for main. Both came piping hot and very tasty. Sticky toffee pudding and profiteroles for pudding. The profitaroles were the best I've ever tasted. Service was speedy and reasonably priced. Under £60 for 2 with drinks. Definitely worth a visit. They also offered gluten free pasta and pizza.”

“Amazing food, great service and unusual idea, all you can eat steak with the system of controlling when you wish to be served again by flipping the card from green to red. We visited last night for the first time and left really full and impressed. This is definitely not our last visit,the next time will probably come for bottomless service so drinks could flow as well. It's not cheap but it is worth the money. Everyone from the staff was very friendly and welcoming, the whole experience was just unforgettable including the deco and music. Thank you for having us and making our anniversary so special. “I absolutely love this place. First visited 20 +years ago when they first opened and I lived in Manchester. I now live up North near Penrith so it’s a treat when I get to visit and I feel like a kid in a sweet shop… The selection is incredible, the price are good, presentation is beautiful. Quality is top notch… staff are lovely I only wish we had a place like this up north and I could visit everyday!!!”

The BEST bread for miles (Wednesday, Friday & Saturday - be quick it gets sold out fast) extensive range of fresh coffee beans sold by weight, huge range of craft beers and organic wines, local cheeses, most every spice you can imagine, all your specialist ingredients AND bespoke organic veggie boxes - order via the website! Seriously great shop. Also the flapjacks are top.”

The chicken pakora starter was probably the best I've ever had. We sat in their bar area afterwards and had some more drinks. The coffee with cream and sugar was lovely. AMAZING, definitely a place to go back to, we had the buffet at £6.99 per person, complemaentary prawn crackers, fab choice of starters and main courses, was told the buffet menu changes after 2 days to keep customers coming back, definitely worth a visit if you`re in town, A takeaway box is £3 and there were plenty of people choosing this option too. “We love coming here for the hot pot! We spend a few hours chatting, eating and drinking tea and always have a great time! The soup is flavourful and the options are very good! Lots of fresh vegetables and meats - The staff are always very nice and attentive and the manager/owner is great! I reached my personal best of a measly 11 plates and my partner almost got on the leader board with her 37 plates! ( she's going to try again at Christmas!)”
