“Just been here this evening for the first time to celebrate my daughter’s 21st-family of 10. From the minute we walked in, we were warmly welcomed. “Just been. Nom nom nom very tasty! We had a single meat handi which was a tender lamb curry, a mixed salad, a cheese and chilli naan, and the tandoori mixed grill. All very good, there wasn't anything left on our plates. We're very full now. The Indian soundtrack was a bit erratic, it kept skipping and stopping, but the ambience was nice and plush, the food was tasty, and reasonably priced, and the bill came out really reasonable for 2 people who have eaten as much as they physically can- £38. It was so reasonable because we didn't buy drinks- they don't have an alcohol licence yet, so they let you BYOB! So we brought a few lagers, and they provided glasses. A very good evening. They do takeaway also, and cater events, and have a banqueting hall upstairs. It's a very big building the former Greaves Arms.”

“I honestly tried to find a problem with this place, but the whole experience, from the warm greeting from the proprietor to the end of the food, you feel like it's a different experience. The quality of the food is sublime, everything cooked to perfection and prepared with such precision and detail that you almost forget that you're having a takeaway burger in your lounge. The owner was very excited and happy to tell us the story of how he got the idea to start this business. Upon hearing we hadn't been before, the owner, as he wanted our opinion on them, he handed us a taste of their Pitt beans, which were incredible. The taste is almost impossible to describe except "wow!" Overall, if you're after an upmarket burger, full of flavors, and sides that will blow your mind, then this is the place for you. Edited Aug 2020. The food is still just as amazing, there is now seating to allow you to eat right there! There is car parking and also, they are coordinating order collection times brilliantly to avoid gatherings of people at their premesis. Well done guys!”

“Having a large choice of Indian food in Cheadle village it could be difficult to choose which restaurant you would go to. Not anymore.....The food at Veeda was spectacular serving one of the best curries we've ever eaten. The food was fresh, tasty and reasonably priced. The service was impeccable and nothing was too much. We usually would go to another local Indian restaurant but we now have a new go too.”

“Tried the chicken steak and a pizza today. The steak was perfectly cooked and juicy. The pizza dough was out of the world and it was perfectly baked without burning the vegetables on the top which usually is the case with most places.”

“Located in the Hyatt Hotel and operated by them. You can choose from the bar and restaurant menu so a decent choice. Waiting staff were excellent, as was the food. With drinks, expect to pay at least 30 a head for a main and a drink. They add 12pct on top for service FYI. Did I say the food was delicious?”
