The setting itself is lovely, relaxed, and perfect for a weekend treat. “Absolutely fantastic from start to finish staff were lovely smiley and very attentive. I'm a chef with many years experience and the food was on point. Served fast but not to fast perfectly hot and tasty. Staff are clearly very well trained and up on their knowledge of their menu and allergens, overall an amazing experience to say your in a pub in Failsworth you would not believe it once your inside. Warm cosy and very chilled out vibe will definitely be returning with family.”

“Out and about in Manchester with Albrecht. Have not been in this non real ale pub in many years but fancied a pint of Guinness. A very good choice. Albrecht had a pint of Estrella. £12.20 for the two pints. A one room pub taken back to the bare brick. A small rear outdoor area. Impressive spirit collection. Very friendly staff. The toucan murals take me back 60 years; we had metal trays with the Guinness toucans when I was a lad. ( sister still has them!) They do have live music. Pipped music was pretty damn good.”

“Been to all the different peri peri places, but this one is still the best. Don’t believe the negative reviews. 99% of the time the food is top notch. We come from Batley regularly, which is 40 minutes away, like many of our other compadres. The food is spicy, so don’t complain that you can’t taste anything else but spice. Genuine review with genuine picture to offset the bad reviews left by people. Been coming here for approx 18 years, but we do love hot food.”
