“I cannot recommend Heaton Park View enough. After having a 7 year gap between the last children, I was extremely nervous to start sending my then 8 month old to nursery after not having the greatest experiences previously, but how different it has been this time around! From the start the staff at HP (especially Tiny Lambs) were super friendly, informative and settled baby girl into the setting really well and quickly. She never really ‘cried’ going in and though we still had to build up that confidence - the separation anxiety was never as bad as I remember. Now, after being there for 6 months she knocks on the door to get in the room in the morning, comes home singing lots of wonderful songs with actions - and even cries when we have to take her home from nursery! It’s so lovely to see and drop your child off knowing they enjoy the environment they are in - and that’s down to all the wonderful staff. Honestly if you are an anxious parent, this nursery is the one for you. They always go above and beyond. From having cute countdown themed days over Christmas to planning fabulous activities daily for the children to enjoy. I even had a little picture and a message on my first day back from maternity leave and it’s just little thoughtful, amazing communication like this that sets this setting apart from the rest by miles!”

“My son went to this nursery from 9 months old until he left for school in September. All the staff are so caring and loving, like a family away from home - three of his key persons particularly standout, Katie G who was his first in Bunnies and supported his transition into nursery life, Jess for support with his speech and language while he was in Fox Cubs and Malaika while he was in Owls for nurturing his curiosity through her experiments. His first parents evening at primary school was full of positives and he is hitting or exceeding all his targets, part of this is the play and experiences he had while being at Footsteps! “I've been sending my children to Mulberry Bush (Dumers Lane) since 2018 and I'd never consider another nursery. The staff are fantastic, so friendly and welcoming, they form such a personal bond with the children. I feel happy and comfortable that they are there for my children whilst im work to give them many experiences (and cuddles!) When my 3rd child came along there was no question that I would also be sending him to Mulberry. They have external agencies come in to teach them languages, see different animals and even visits from the emergency services. They are outstanding in every area especially with safeguarding.”

“My son Oliver has been attending Aura music Academy for several years now learning to play drum (acoustic). He attended a couple of different taster sessions so he could decide where he wanted to learn and chose Aura. He has had a few different tutors along the way but has connected well with them which is important for him to engage fully. Regular updates on the school and lesson notes shared so we can see how he continues to progress.”

“Paintpots is an amazing nursery. My little boy has settled in well and has flourished due to their care and attention that they provide daily. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. I receive a report at each term end with my little boys progress and a daily report on the app to highlight the daily activities and foods that he has eaten. On pick up I get a run down verbally of how he has been, which is very reassuring that they are looking after him and monitoring him all the time. I would highly recommend paint pots nursery. I understand how important it is to place your child at the right nursery and feel confident that they are being looked after. I can't praise the pre school room members of staff enough, they are truly amazing!”

“Chapel Street Primary School is an exceptional school with exceptionally dedicated staff. Children are very welcoming and very ambitious. I had great pleasure to work with the staff to help them create a curriculum that matters. During my time at the school I had the opportunity to see the great improvements children had made in their learning. Year 6 children working on the circulatory system were fired up by what they had learned with one boy going on to research the part the brain plays in ensuring the heart remains healthy. Younger children studying the digestive system were fascinated to learn about what happens to their food. The way the staff support this enquiry based learning is a joy to observe. This is a school that is going places, ensuring that children are not just learning but that they are improving their long-term memory. In other words, they are very much into making a difference through improving the knowledge the children will take with them for the rest of their lives.”

“Absolutely brilliant nursery, our son when he started in June had delayed social interaction and speech. He’s come on leaps and bounds and he really enjoys his time at the learning hive. All the staff are great with him, especially Ellie who spends a lot of time one on one with our son. I couldn’t recommend the learning hive enough.”

“My son has attended Bolton School from the age of 5 and has just finished his A levels. He has lots of opportunities throughout his school life . Although his main extra curricular activities have revolved around sport where he has represented the school at football, cricket, water polo and hockey he has also been stretched into the arts having the opportunity to act, and play the trumpet in concerts. Discipline is strong in the school but I have found it fair. Academically he has progressed and has turned into a well rounded individual. Thank you Bolton School.”

“My son has been enrolled since he was six months old, he has been supported through his development by the wonderful staff in each of the three rooms he’s passed through so far. He can be shy of people at first and the staff in each room have respected his need for space and time to get to know them and built solid relationships with him by taking things at his pace. As we begin our potty training journey the staff in his room are having frequent conversations with me about how it’s going and what we are doing to support him through this to ensure that they take a consistent approach with what is being done at home and his key worker Victoria has been excellent at taking him to the potty and encouraging him to sit when he is feeling stubborn.”
