“A fantastic dance school. My daughter has attended classes here for about 14 years! Started as a toddler in a pink frilly tutu! The dance teacher Lesley is lovely and patiently teaches all the children from toddlers to teens and runs adult classes for fitness as well. It’s very much a calm and no pressure environment. Affordable. There is the opportunity to achieve dance grades with certificates, medals and trophies. There is a dance show to take part in each year which again is fun with no pressure on the children and also costumes and tickets etc are much more affordable than other places. My daughter has loads of hobbies and interests but this is the longest lasting …. I think Lesley also provides her with a safe place to talk about her stressful life issues…..even more important in the teenage years! I’ve met lots of other lovely mums throughout the years too!”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Fantastic Evening at The Bulls Head, Hale! We had a wonderful experience at The Bulls Head in Hale! The service was absolutely excellent — Vicky and Josh were both friendly, attentive, and made us feel really welcome from the moment we arrived. A big thank you also to the night manager, David, who made sure everything ran smoothly and added a personal touch to the evening. The food was spot on — the scampi was perfectly cooked, the fish and chips were crisp and delicious, and the deserts were absolutely lovely. Everything was fresh, piping hot, and full of flavour. A great atmosphere, great service, and great food — we’ll definitely be coming back soon. Highly recommend!”

They are extremely prompt with the paperwork and when I had made mistake and asked them to change it they did there and then. “Cardwell Theatre School is absolutely brilliant! I learnt to dance there, Miss Lynda (Cardwell) was my teacher and now I'm lucky enough that my daughter also attends. They cater for a range of ages (although mostly 3-18) and abilities, whether you're starting out or would like to consider a career on the stage. They offer a range of different classes, from ballet to tap and musical theatre - even adult jazz and tap classes. The school has produced a number of noted performers including performers with the Royal National Ballet, and recently former students staring in Billy Elliot, Shrek the Musical and Wicked. I cannot recommend highly enough!”

“Great cafe hidden away at the back of the shop. The service was Stellar, great choice of teas, coffees and breads with the food. I had eggs Royale and they were perfect. Runny poached eggs and delicious sauce. My other half had the traditional grill, which was a delicious and hearty breakfast. Our friend had the scrambled eggs and avocado and the portion was huge, and it was delicious! Definitely recommend and would come here again any day! 11/10.”

“My daughter joined Starlight over a year ago. She really loves the lyrical dance session and what I appreciate is the lack of exams and snobbery at the school. It makes her soul sing to be a part of such an inclusive, dynamic, nurturing and encouraging dance school. Thank you for all the opportunities you’ve provided for her too, to be on stage at The Waterside and Sadlers’ Wells even though she’s only been dancing a year. I did try to bring her to dance classes several times but it’s not until she’s towards the end of primary that she’s been brave enough to throw herself into it and it’s wonderful to see!”
