“Went here for my sister’s 30th for Sunday lunch with my family. The food was incredible and the gravy was so shiny and delicious and there was loads of it! A true northern restaurant. My grandpa also has dementia and we requested that the food was served quickly. They were very accommodating. Can’t wait to come back and try the small plates.”

“First time here and certainly won’t be the last, minced chicken with lettuce wraps and salt & pepper prawn were the most savoury light delectable starters with duck, rice and the star of the show, steamed whole sea bass for main. My oh my best sea bass I have ever eaten, moist, fell off the bone, intensely savoury liquor, no extra thickeners. Just wow. And Sunny. Sunny sunny sunny. You were the highlight of the evening. The waitress Katie was very hospitable, and went above and beyond to make the whole experience even better. Atmosphere was great even for a Tuesday evening. Will definitely be returning”

“What an absolute gem of a place, huge place filled with all sorts of wonderful bits and pieces. Two floors of excellent quality good sturdy furniture. If you find a piece but its not quite the right colour have a chat with them and they see what they can do to lighten/darken it to suit you. Excellent find lovely place. even lovelier people that run the place (so sorry My memory is shocking when it comes to names) nothing it to much for them. Will be back when me and the other half get our house”

“Everybody loves a good Chinese take away. With a few Chinese restaurants offered in the area, I can say that this is by far the BEST within a 3 mile radius! Wether you are travelling to pick up, or even waiting over an hour for delivery, it is definitely worth the wait. We ordered sweet and sour pork, chicken fried rice, Prawn toast, sticky beef, ribs and veg spring rolls... all were absolutely bloody delicious. I don't usually like Prawn toast, but woah, those were so *input curse word here for emphasis* good! The crunch, the taste & the sweet and sour sauce to complement were *chef kiss*. My favourite though was the sweet and sour pork. Gosh. I can't even explain it. Over the years I've had sweet and sour pork from so many places, but that.... that was absolute heaven in a box. The pricing for the dishes weren't extortionate at all. It's what you'll expect to pay for a takeaway... we had left overs and still tasted delicious heated up. We will definitely be returning. 100/10 will recommend as this place was recommended to us.”
