I ordered Post Crete and it was heavy so, having a leg injury, I asked would someone please carry it to my car. They immediately said they would! They were great to chat to in thw process, asked me how I was with my injury, etc. Great member of staff and very professional, fast service. I'll have to pop in more! From Craig the plasterer, Chris the Gas fitter/plumber and Reece and Daniel the electricians the whole process was slick. “I called at the florist on the off chance (Sunday morning) to have a floral arrangement made. I chose the colours, paid and returned later on to pick up the most beautiful and colourful floral arrangement. I was near to tears at the choice of flowers and colours the young lady had put together. My daughter in law was over the moon with the flowers and agreed with me that they were truly beautiful. Thank you”

“I had afternoon tea for my birthday and everything was perfect and delicious. The tea room is lovely decorated with cute tea pots and cups. We were too full to finish it all and they boxed the left over cakes up for me to take home. Great experience and highly recommended.”

“THIS is the pub to go to if ever you have the chance. And if you've been before, but not since late 2023 - ga again. New, young owners have revitalised the Tavern whilst keeping all the old, well lived traditional features. The food is fantastic, dogs are very welcome. There is even home-made doggy ice-cream, dog snacks and hand-made dog leads for sale. There's a small tuck shop and board games for kids. Lovely walks all around. WINNER OF PUB OF THE YEAR 2025.”

“Had a few roasts in the old venue which were stunning Been few times at the old cock and Sundays roasts fab too - I do miss the lamb shanks on the menu but enjoy the other meats we had Have to say the cheesecakes are the best I’ve eaten absolutely gorgeous Would also like to comment the young girl running the floor ( maybe the chefs daughter ) so lovely with a gentle caring and kind approach that always tries to make your experience as positive as possible Only negative be the venue seems so cold :)”
