I just had the fish ( small ) that would have sunk a battle ship it was that big it could have fed 2 of us.... Cooked to perfection....friendly staff.... I'll deefinately be back again”

“The best fish ’n’ chips in the area. PERIOD. Anybody saying the Kingfisher on Parrin Lane is better — and the other comments — listen up. Yes, they are super friendly at the Kingfisher. They also close at 8:30, not the 9 p.m. this one does. And you can’t complain that this no longer takes card payments because neither does the Kingfisher, but this at least allows bank transfer — so basically it takes card payments. Also, saying it’s expensive? Last night I got a LARGE FISH & CHIPS with a pot of GRAVY and a pot of MUSHY-PEAS (both of which are far superior to Kingfisher’s) for £11.20. I think that’s very fair. I’m posting the pics here so you can see how amazing they are — and that’s after going to Lidl and walking 10 minutes home. Hot, delicious, and not greasy. 10/10. Give them a try at least once so you KNOW for yourself. :)”

“I had heard good things about this place from a friend and as I was travelling home from work my son amd I decided to swing in. We were made to feel very welcome, the staff are really lovely and the food was top notch. Needless to say we left feeling very full and happy. They have a number of good deals during the week so doesn't hurt your wallet either. We will see you soon”

“I popped in the other day to get some last minute stuff for Christmas, and I didn’t realise it when picking it up that the milk bottle was leaking. It was only at the till, when Kush, the guy serving me, pointed it out. He was very polite and apologetic about the leaky milk (which was nearly half empty at this point!) and let me go and get another bottle. Thank you Kush!!”

He kindly helped me carry a couple of boxes of items that had been left at the branch, which was such a thoughtful gesture and made a real difference. “Don’t expect more than what you’re paying for, but for the price is more than enough. The food is good, tasty, the portions are big and the price is cheap. It doesn’t take too long and is better than many cheap places from around. We always order the rice and the salt and pepper chips are the best. The wonton soup is really really nice too and the sweet chili chicken is the best. The price is usually never more than 15 pounds. We also ordered nuggets for my niece, she is a child and loved them. They’re not very tasty but they are nice.”
