We love their food so much that we opted for their catering service for our daughter’s baptism event. Everyone loved the food and it was a pure delight. We would highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a good Indian tea specially their chicken Hyderabadi and Samosa which are almost like Delhi style.”

“Fabulous gym. I started 6 years ago when my son was in a ninjas class to fill the time, I go 3-4 times a week now and it’s been amazing for my fitness and energy. I’ll be going for black belt at my next grading! It’s totally inclusive, everyone is encouraged to reach their best regardless of age, fitness level etc. Lots of different classes to choose from in timetable and great facilities. Top class coaches who invest in all students. My daughter goes now as well and she loves it. Welcoming, respectful culture. Very lucky to have this place round the corner. “Had a weekend away in the Peak District and was visiting nearby towns. Came across this lovely little cafe in a small town not to far from where we were staying (Whaley bridge). We ordered the egg and avacado toast which was yummy!! The hot chocolate was really rich and just perfect. What attracted me to this cafe was the mostly vegetarian menu. The cafe was also a walking distance from Millennium walkway is another great place to visit!”

It’s meeting Saskia, Harvey, Toby and Chris that makes me want to go daily. They make a great team - everyone is made to feel welcome and special. “Had a lovely, relaxing trip on the Judith Mary Canal boat today, from Whaley Bridge travelling along the High Peak Canal,which was very enjoyable.The Atmosphere aboard the boat was great, it was decorated out for Christmas, the staff were all very friendly and helpful, working very hard to make sure everyone was happy. We had a Christmas meal, which consisted of a Turkey batch, roast potatoes, pig in blanket and a stuffing ball, served with gravy and cranberry sauce, followed by a very tasty warm mince pie and fresh thick double cream.(included in price) You can have an alternative menu for dietary requirements arranged when booking. There is a well stocked bar on the barge, serving beers, lagers, cider,wines, and spirits, with tea, coffee, hot chocolate, mulled wine, and speciality coffees, all at reasonable prices. There are toilets on board, which are clean. The trip lasts roughly 2 hours, but to be honest, time went so quickly. hardly noticed . Trip turns around at some point during the cruise, so you end back up at Whaley Bridge.”

“We visited Rudy’s Pizza on Saturday evening around 9:00 PM, about an hour before closing, and were pleasantly surprised by how smoothly everything went. Despite the place being busy, we were seated immediately without any wait, and the staff had no issue accommodating the three of us. Since it was getting late, we decided to place our full order right away. The food arrived impressively fast. Our server, Laura, was absolutely fantastic—friendly, attentive, and cheerful throughout, even when we asked a few silly questions. She made us feel genuinely welcome. We kept it simple with a Margherita, a veggie pizza, and garlic bread. The garlic bread was out of this world—definitely a highlight. My wife and I shared the pizza, and there was still enough left to take home. To top it all off, when the bill arrived, we noticed they hadn’t charged us for our drinks, and they even gave our little girl a complimentary brownie. We were told the drinks were on the house. It was such a thoughtful gesture. Overall, we had a wonderful experience, and a big shoutout to Laura for making our evening so memorable.”

A local hero for a reason, Pizza Uno prides themselves in giving us great tasting food at an affordable price with a wide choice of food, try their Fatayer, it’s to die for.
