“We came in for lunch and it was amazing as usual. It was my daughter’s first visit and she loved it. Mike and the team looked after us brilliantly. Highly recommended.”
“I will start by saying that this is a Premier Inn, so you know what you are getting from the very beginning, which is why I try to book PI when I go away as I know I will have a decent sleep in a comfy bed and an excellent breakfast the next morning. This Premier Inn was very easy to find, it was a very short walk from Media City tram stop, which was itself a very smooth journey from Manchester Piccadilly station. On this occasion, we had paid a little extra for a Premier Plus room, it was only £10 more than the standard room at the time of booking and it was more than worth it. Check in was nice and easy and the staff member was incredibly helpful, showing us how to activate a second key card for the room. Navigating to our room was also a very simple process (you have to use your key card to get through to the lifts and then again to use the lift, which is excellent security). The Premier Plus room was beautiful and exceeded our expectations, it was roomy, well decorated and had a fridge, iron and ironing board, Nespresso machine and a glorious rainfall shower. The room was spotlessly clean with no faults. We were very excited to see that we had a view that peeked a little onto "The Cobbles" (Coronation Street) as this was the reason for our visit. There is a Co-op a very short walk around the corner from the hotel, which proved very useful and is excellent placement. As always in a Premier Inn, we enjoyed an excellent nights sleep. We also booked breakfast for the next morning to set us up for our day out (I always recommend booking a PI breakfast). We were very impressed with the options available at breakfast, which has something for everyone and suits all dietary requirements. The very lovely, friendly and warm Lizzie ensured we were given the allergen menu (one of us is coeliac) and quickly ordered a plate of "vegan bacon" for us on request. The restaurant was smaller than the one at the last Premier Inn we were in, but we actually preferred this as it felt more intimate but didn't impact on the choice available, which was great! Unfortunately, the coffee machine was broken at breakfast, but there was still instant coffee and tea bags available to make a hot drink and this absolutely does not impact my review at all, as this is something that cannot be helped and we had a Nespresso machine in our room for a proper coffee anyway! Checkout was swift and straightforward, again, as we would expect from Premier Inn. We will definitely be returning when we visit Manchester again and really hope that we see Lizzie next time, as she was outstanding!”
“Absolutely fabulous food, really friendly staff with excellent service. The Lamb Zeera was particularly nice.”
“Had a great experience here tonight. We were looked after by Jade and Eve and they were both so helpful. I have a gluten allergy (celiac) and they were really helpful and reassuring. Very on it with allergy’s and cross contamination. Overall great experience”
“Everyone here is treated amazingly by the staff they go above and beyond. Our first time here & the food was absolutely incredible. Everything is homemade and delicious! My new favourite place for sure.”
“Went here for a Sunday roast and it was amazing, best I’ve had in Manchester. The staff are also super friendly and attentive and gorgeous interior. 10/10”
“Excellent friendly staff, dog friendly. Food spot on”
“Elaine and Rob provided fantastic service (sorry about the accident- you know what I mean) really made us want to come back. The food was tasty too. Salmon off the lunch menu, 3 plates off the small plates menu and the triple combo. All recommended.”
“Mr. Zeeshan provided exceptional service, ensuring a positive experience. The cuisine was outstanding, offering a diverse selection of choices at reasonable price points.”
“Our recent stay at The Lowry was one of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, the reception team were warm, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The room was spotless, spacious and beautifully put together with thoughtful touches that made it feel really special. It had a real sense of luxury. Breakfast was another highlight, with excellent food, attentive staff and so many options! We can’t wait to visit again in the future! Thank you!”
“Free parking (When you show your cinema ticket to the staff ask for parking validation. They will give you a card. Before you exit the building after your movie ends, go to the parking machine. Type in your car reg and the code, this will validate your parking) Great Cinema. Recliner seats, which are very comfortable. The staff are always welcoming and nice.”
“Absolutely love this place. The food is second to none, the cocktails are amazing and the staff are extremely helpful polite and quick. I love the decor, it creates a lovely atmosphere. Very warm and welcoming place, with great live music almost daily. Plus the prices are fair, All round brilliant and definitely recommend.”
“Being in my early 40s now and having many Chinese takeaways over 3 decades, this is absolutely hands down our favourite Chinese and the only place we get from now! As you can see in the pic the sweet and sour chicken melts in the mouth, very generous portions such as the salt and pepper chicken which is our favourite starter, super friendly and efficient staff and very reasonable prices, cannot recommend highly enough! “The food here is amazing! The jollof rice was especially great, full of flavour and perfectly cooked. The puff puff delight was excellent — soft, fresh, and absolutely delicious. Special shoutout to Oyinda for her great customer service; she was friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better. I’ll definitely be coming back!”
“Yesterday, I visited that restaurant at Quays with my family, and I must say it was a wonderful experience. There was a guy named Ateef at the counter who was handling many customers at once, yet he served us with great efficiency and a smile. My kids were a bit upset initially before, but I really want to appreciate and thank him for how kindly he treated them. He managed to serve our order within minutes and even made sure the kids got exactly what they wanted — that truly made a difference. The food was absolutely delicious — it tasted just like homemade! This was my second visit within a month, and I must say, the experience was consistently excellent. Highly recommended!”
“This is absolutely delicious food. I love coming here and will always get my Chinese food from here. The ribs and friends rice are so tasty. The service is quick and the people working there are always friendly.”
“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fantastic Experience at Embankment Kitchen Had a great visit to Embankment Kitchen — everything was spot on. The food was excellent, the atmosphere was relaxed, and the service was brilliant throughout. A special shout-out to Nari, who looked after us perfectly. Friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. Would definitely recommend and will be returning!”
“So pleased I've discovered the atmosphere bar. Located within the university house this is the university's main SU bar but also well used by Peel Park visitors. The bar is located on the first floor of the building and is easily missed if you don't know it's there. Once inside there are three distinct and different parts of the bar. Firstly the main bar and largest space is like a sports bar with plenty of screens to watch live sporting events. Secondly, there is a games bar with pool tables and retro arcade games and darts. Thirdly there is a mezzanine floor which carries a whole different decor and vibe. Much more intermate and lounge like you can easily find your own space to work or have a private drink. I didn't sample the food but it appeared to be very good value for money. The beer selection was excellent and very well priced. £3.80 for a pint of Guinness and £3.70 for a pint of Madri. The Guinness was excellent too. When I'm next in Peel Park I'll certainly pay a visit to Atmosphere.”
“Visited over Patrick’s weekend and really enjoyed liked the relaxed atmosphere. The place had plenty of screens showing the football, which was a nice. They also have Thief Street in the kitchen, the food was fantastic, great portion sizes and tasted delicious. The staff were friendly and welcoming, adding to the overall experience. Drinks are on the pricey side, with a pint of Guinness costing £6.70, but since we’re not big drinkers, we just had one drink each so it didn't affect us too much”
“Good service and variety of food prices are good as well, we tried the sushi and the crispy pork belly which were very tasty, even in a match day the service was pretty fast which honestly was unexpected in a very good way. The burger was really tasty the right size”
“My favourite place for arts and crafts essentials. Just be sure to check it’s actually in stock in store not only available online”
“Food is of great quality, I even utilised their delivery service. Delicious authentic Nigerian food. Great service, nothing was too much trouble. Will be visiting again.”
“Visited late tonight and was served a really good pepperoni pizza, only took a short time and the person who served me was extra polite and helpful ! Will be back”
“The best burger iv had in Manchester. Also ordered wings and was recommended Buffalo sauce by the server and it was amazing. Would give them more stars if I could.. Fast service and really really pleasant staff.”
“Pretty nice vibe and friendly staff. Food is delicious too, I had a ribeye and a hunters both lovely and cooked to perfection! Would recommend for a lite bite or quick lunch stop.”
“The food was delicious, the preparation didn't take so long. First I got the starter which is the mozzarella sticks with sauce and the pizza came after that by around 10 min. I got the stretched dough so the dough was thin but the pizza looked bigger, Beef pizza. And lastly was the dessert, vanilla cheese cake it was too sweet and they put their 6 year anniversary small chocolate next to it. So far the service was good since I was there at 12:30 am on Monday. Not many people were around since it's working time. The music was fine not a big fan of songs and stuff.”
“Was served quickly by a friendly little lass. Ordered chips with mushrooms, onions and curry sauce. Think it was only £4 something. The portion size was huge. So tasty, great value. Will definitely go there again when I'm next in salford.”
“Doesn't look like much from the outside but very nice decor inside, with funky RGB lighting. Only one thing on the menu but it's very good! Friendly staff”
“My favourite local take away. Friendly staff food is excellent”
