“Brilliant place with a great atmosphere. Very comfortable and welcoming with extremely friendly volunteers running it. Brings a real sense of community which is part of the aim. They run a fab cafe with some very different choices of food and also include vegetarian and vegan options too. Events and projects for the community run during the day and the evening. There's a bar for evening events which serves a great selection of drinks at incredibly reasonable prices. A very relaxed informal welcoming place. Open mic night is lots of fun with anyone and everyone encouraged to get up and play or sing. Very eclectic with something for everyone. Lots of local artisans and artists sell their wares here too and there are lots of plans in the pipeline yet to come”

“This is the only place I take my son to. He’s 3 and gets really stressed out having his hair cut so I dread it… but the girl who works here (Lindsey I think she’s called) is brilliant with him. She’s so patient and tries her best to occupy him so he can have his hair cut properly. She does a really tidy cut and I’m always happy with it when she’s done it. Last time I went he was tired and kept crying so I told her to leave it and she even offered to not take the money for the cut :,) She’s really lovely and knows how to be around kids. They have a new baby seat (toy car) chair which is brilliant for young children. Really friendly staff, this is the only place I will take him :)”

“Absolutely awesome!! The staff, the drivers have been brilliant. We used Hyde for transportation throughout the day for our wedding due to one of our party being a not to confident wheelchair user, nothing was too much trouble for the drivers. Truly took any pressure away from the day. Thank you so much for all your help and will be using you in the future!”

“Brilliant interaction with Children and parents. My son is so happy going to Pre school and is learning so much whilst here. Staff are helping massively with toilet training. Meals that are provided are perfect i get notifications on the app to say when he has eaten and how much, really puts a parents mind at rest knowing he is in the right place and being cared for. Staff put your mind at rest if you have any concerns. Lead by a brilliant manager !! Manchester Hyde team are amazing !!!”

“I only use the sauna and the steam cabin usually (when I have time for a visit), but far the best of all Village Gyms in Manchester, even if this is a bit smaller. Nice and calm atmosphere and very kind staff.”

“Children 4 Most nursery is truly an excellent nursery for our youngest child. When evaluating suitable nurseries, we were most impressed with Children 4 Most Hyde and this was helped by the fact its sister nursery elsewhere looked after our older two children excellently. What we love about Children 4 Most Hyde is the both the professionalism and warmth of the team there - there is so much confidence in the care of the team that minds our youngest child. He has dietary and health requirements and the team effortlessly take care of that, it's recorded on their systems and it is second nature to them. There are more things that we love about the nursery - the updates we get from the app showing what our child is up to, with photos and write ups - it is very impressive and makes us quite proud as parents and also of the team in the nursery. And finally, you only need to see our child when he goes to nursery in the mornings - so happy, walks triumphantly to his happy place. This is a clear hat tip to Children 4 Most nursery Hyde!”

“Reliable, Reasonable and Responsive. We wanted to add to and adapt our kitchen (ovens and hob replacing aga, lots of electrics, new peninsula, new worktops, rearrangement of some existing cupboards etc.) . Penny not only listened to and understood our needs,but offered constructive advice and importantly didn't tell us "you would be better to replace everything" or "if we move a unit, we can't be sure not to damage it" - both of which we heard from other companies. There was also a refreshing openness about the pricing, so we could judge options properly, which gave us great confidence. Richard, Mick and Warren turned up on exactly the day the install was booked and did a very good and tidy job of fitting everything. We had a minor issue with a plinth heater after the install, but handled appropriately without any fuss. Project was handled well by Penny and Suzie and any queries were always answered very promptly and efficiently. It was a pleasure dealing with everyone at Byles and I would highly recommend.”

Looking as an outsider ...it's not good ...staff complacent to the children's lives whether it is bullying or illness mental or physical there's a feeling that they just don't give a dam...as long as it dosent happen on school grounds ..seems they don't teach morals anymore either just the curriculum..collect their paycheck and forget about their pupils ..time to pull their socks up..”

“I live in France and was visiting family in Hyde when the windscreen wipers on my 17 year old car failed. Mark saved the day by sourcing a salvage motor and fitting it within the morning (thanks also to technician Andy). I was able to continue my journey south to visit friends and return home. All done with enormous generosity of spirit. Thanks, Mark, for restoring my faith in human kindness.”

“I just wanted to take the time out to leave this hairdressers a review. It was my first time I went there to get my hair cut as I was recommended this place by a friend. I’m so fussy with who cuts my hair and always scared if it get ruined as I’ve had many bad experience with hairdressers due to me having long hair and getting it cut to short. I was greeted by Sophie stunning young woman and such a lovely person she did an incredible job and I’m so so happy with my cut and layers. I will 100% be coming back to cut my hair cut done by here again as I was on the search to find someone for the long run. George is a fantastic character to both such lovely people and had a very pleasant experience going. Thankyou guys so much it was love to meet you and I will see you in the future for my next cut. “Well what can I say. Had systems on n off for a few years, with exorbitant prices. Steven made me comfy immediately, he knew what he was doing and did an awesomely good fitting cut and styling. Extremely happy with the end result and would recommend in a heartbeat. And the price was so good as his price lists show, I even gave him a £20 tip!!! Will definitely be returning monthly minimally to have my ‘new locks’ refreshed. Thanks Steven!!!! Keith”

“I keep being asked how my visit was by Google but I've only ever known this as a pub. It looks fantastic inside. I drank in there from 1986 upto 1995. To turn this into what in guessing is a young child's pool must have been such a gamble but it seems to have been a very clever one. I wonder if such imagination will go into other pubs that close. But please not another takeaway.”
