“Delightful little cafe. Food was excellent, we chose the Coronation Chicken on an open bloomer. The best coronation sandwich I ever had. Prices are also very reasonable. Owner and staff very friendly. Will go again.”

“Had a weekend away in the Peak District and was visiting nearby towns. Came across this lovely little cafe in a small town not to far from where we were staying (Whaley bridge). We ordered the egg and avacado toast which was yummy!! The hot chocolate was really rich and just perfect. What attracted me to this cafe was the mostly vegetarian menu. The cafe was also a walking distance from Millennium walkway is another great place to visit!”

“I don’t know what kind of magic beans they’re using at this kiosk, but WOW — this coffee is next level. You can literally smell the goodness before you even get to the counter. The flat white? “If you're looking for a delightful little coffee shop with a fantastic atmosphere, great food, and a wonderful atmosphere, look no further, The North Coffee Shop is owned by John who has many years of experience and makes mouth watering food, he is incredibly friendly and has created a wonderful warm and inviting atmosphere, there is something for everyone and all made with love by John himself. He runs Greek nights also and the dishes are fantastic, with loads of variety. I would highly recommend anyone to drop in and sample some of John's tasty treats, you won't be disappointed xx”

“What can I say! I’ve been coming daily to Kickback for my morning coffee for over three years. The coffee is excellent, that’s a given. It’s meeting Saskia, Harvey, Toby and Chris that makes me want to go daily. They make a great team - everyone is made to feel welcome and special. They work incredibly hard and are a credit to the wider Kickback team. If I could give 6 stars I would!”

Superb drink choice, with beers (north/ South my favourite) and cocktails a plenty (Gin Bramble my wifes favourite). They really go all out to look after you and your dogs too. “Popped in because it just looked interesting. Saw "Tameside" gin and was intrigued. I asked the barman to surprise me. He made me a Blood Orange Gin and Lemonade and it was absolutely fantastic. He told me a bit about the origin of it and knew his products. I can heartily recommend you at least pip in for 1 and sit in what is a truly lovely place while you enjoy a delicious glass of gin. Fantastic.”

“I've been to a lot of different classes here over the years, and the teaching quality has always been great. They've got a ton of nice equipment (which they keep *very* clean), and lessons are always well planned out to challenge each person in the class. I've also done occasional private lessons to work on specific goals, and they've been really helpful each time. The instructors are friendly and approachable, and I'd absolutely recommend Bodybarre to people at any level of fitness. Lots of fun to be had!”

“I'm so pleased that I found Pipeline Services to replace my old copper water supply pipe that kept on getting small leaks. It was a bigger job than first thought, as not only did they have to mole 20 meters down my drive, they also had to dig some some of the concrete garage floor. They have left everything nice and tidy as well. Big thank you to Victoria in the office who was able to be flexible with our appointments to coincide with the water board coming to move our water meter, and thank you to Michael and Lee who carried out the work. Really great team.”

“We visited Rudy’s Pizza on Saturday evening around 9:00 PM, about an hour before closing, and were pleasantly surprised by how smoothly everything went. Despite the place being busy, we were seated immediately without any wait, and the staff had no issue accommodating the three of us. Since it was getting late, we decided to place our full order right away. The food arrived impressively fast. Our server, Laura, was absolutely fantastic—friendly, attentive, and cheerful throughout, even when we asked a few silly questions. She made us feel genuinely welcome. We kept it simple with a Margherita, a veggie pizza, and garlic bread. The garlic bread was out of this world—definitely a highlight. My wife and I shared the pizza, and there was still enough left to take home. To top it all off, when the bill arrived, we noticed they hadn’t charged us for our drinks, and they even gave our little girl a complimentary brownie. We were told the drinks were on the house. It was such a thoughtful gesture. Overall, we had a wonderful experience, and a big shoutout to Laura for making our evening so memorable.”
