“Went to purchase some toys for my sons birthday today. One was a twin pack of monster trucks. I asked the lady if we could choose particular ones. Usually you just get what you get but she was amazing and went to check if they had the one we wanted. They didn't so she then rang Elk Mill to see if they had the one we wanted and offered all help she could to find the particular ones. Unfortunately she couldn't find them but was so lovely and let us choose between what they had in. Usually nobody would do this so i was so grateful to her. Her name was Amanda and i think she deserves alot of credit. Thank you so much Amanda. There should be more workers like Amanda!”

“I have been with this surgery for over 30 yrs even before they were at this location. I have generally had a very good experience with them. From the receptionists. Nurses and Doctors. Most of them are very helpfulness and efficient. I would not want to change to another practice. 1”

“This is an amazing college. The staff are really supportive. The facilities, especially the Library and the Regional Science Centre are very useful and are popular amongst students. The behaviour and atmosphere is good and positive. The range of subjects offered have helped 1000s to go on to study at well recognised Universities and establishments! So many ways for students to get involved too.”

I can’t thank the staff on T3 at Oldham Hospital enough for the compassionate care they’ve shown my mum over the past three weeks. They have truly gone above and beyond. Sister Collette, the nurses, physiotherapists, HCAs, meal staff — every single member of the team has been incredible. Their respect, care, compassion, dignity and support for both my mum, myself and my nephew has been outstanding. “I attended the eye clinic last week with an urgent follow up appointment. I arrived early and was met by a lovely, friendly receptionist. She immediately put me at ease. Shortly after I had my eye sight tested by a nice man. I was then called in by Josh for scans, who again was very friendly and welcoming. After a few more minutes I was seen by the consultant, Mr. Grassi. He was very professional and polite. The whole experience was absolutely brilliant thank you.”

“I was very doubtful when I first started my high intensity therapy due to having past bad experiences. My therapist Abida has been absolutely amazing and listened to me and what I want and do not want in relation to wording of things. This was from the very start so this enabled us to begin this journey with knowing what to expect from each other. I am not going to lie and say it was plain sailing because it was far from it reliving and revealing hidden memories but with the help of Abida and her compassion and empathy I am now in a much better place and have the tools to be able to keep going in my therapeutic journey. Never once did I feel judged or patronised whilst in my sessions like before. Abida has been my absolute rock throughout this painful and traumatic experience and I am so so appreciative of the help, support and guidance that I have received. I understand not all therapists are the same but set boundaries and ground rules for you both at the beginning and please listen to your therapist they know what they are doing, and as tough as it gets please do NOT give up it's worth it in the end I promise. I have just finished my 20 session and a quote from me that I have made in relation to my experience is "You cannot heal, if you cannot feel " Thank you Abida and good luck to everyone else who is thinking of starting this journey, is in this journey good luck or who has finished this journey well done be proud of yourself because I know I am. “Thank you to the staff especially reception who have been so helpful. I am a carer and the staff really helped me with setting up appointments, manage his prescriptions and make referrals. The Focused Care Practitioner was a great help with arranging a home visit when he was too poorly to get to the surgery.”

“Oldham Children's Hospital. Amazing!!!! I am so shocked reading the bad reviews. Children are here to be brought back to health..so what if you have to wait 4 hours in a&e or have to wait 20 minutes to be buzzed into the unit. Your priority should be your child. How can anyone complain that the adults don't get fed? This is not a hotel!! How can anyone complain that the staff are lazy when they work 14 hour shifts?(Maybe that person should get a job!!!). Oldham NHS staff we will be forever grateful for the care of our son and all the other children in Oldham that you have cared for. Luckily you are all well educated enough to not take the bad reviews personally. Keep being amazing xx”
