“Brilliant place with a great atmosphere. Very comfortable and welcoming with extremely friendly volunteers running it. Brings a real sense of community which is part of the aim. They run a fab cafe with some very different choices of food and also include vegetarian and vegan options too. Events and projects for the community run during the day and the evening. There's a bar for evening events which serves a great selection of drinks at incredibly reasonable prices. A very relaxed informal welcoming place. Open mic night is lots of fun with anyone and everyone encouraged to get up and play or sing. Very eclectic with something for everyone. Lots of local artisans and artists sell their wares here too and there are lots of plans in the pipeline yet to come”

We used Hyde for transportation throughout the day for our wedding due to one of our party being a not to confident wheelchair user, nothing was too much trouble for the drivers. “We were sceptical about staying at The Hyde venue as we knew it wasn’t as renovated as its local sites such as the Ashton site. Having recently visited to use the swimming facilities we were met by friendly staff so we decided to book an overnight here due to the low costs. Being regulars at sites such as Manchester’s dokota and the midland we naturally had high standards basing our recommendations off google and trip advisor ratings. I can honestly say after meeting Kai and Kiki at the bar they completed our stay. They were so welcoming and genuine honest people who cared to take the time to speak to you despite their clear busy work schedule. Before meeting them the staff were friendly but did the bare minimum. I feel I need to give a special mention to these two individuals because they go above and beyond what is expected and deserve to be recognised by management and higher as they have staff that exceed their pay grade. What they provided was above and beyond what any of the 5* venues we visit in Manchester City centre and we will return on the back of their hospitality alone. I hope this review allows the recognition they deserve, having started my career in hospitality at the age of 15 I know how hard it is to show care and general interest in clients but they do so in an impeccable manner. “We used Manchester Travels back in 2019 when we went hajj. The service provided by Hafiz Shahin, Kamal bhai and the team was exceptional, they made us feel very comfortable from start to finish. It was then that we promised, we will use Manchester Travels for our family umrah. They didn't disappoint again, as expected, guiding us all the way thorough. My kids felt so relaxed and at home. Having used Manchester Travels twice now, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone. I highly recommend them for anyone considering booking Hajj or Umrah.”

“Freedom is an amazing place for the kids and adults to dance. Everyone is polite and kind to each other and always helping each other out. The staff are all lovely and friendly and helpful. There are many options at freedom. The Christmas presentation are always so festive and it’s nice to see how hard everyone works. Xx”

“I’ll start my review by saying that I’ve eaten at all the so called ‘best Indian Restaurants’ locally and to be fair there are a few good ones but often victims of their own success. However, in my opinion, Spice Bistro is up there amongst the best and from the meals I’ve eaten, it is by far the best Indian Restaurant around the Tameside and Glossop area. The meat they serve is so very tender, full of flavour and simply melts in your mouth and this is complimented by the curry sauces which have so much flavour they make you drool. The portion sizes are exceptional because they are thick and not full of oil or watery sauce and if you order a takeaway the foil container is full to the top. I can’t compliment the quality of the food enough…….it is that good. As a side note, the staff are incredibly polite, helpful and chatty but most important they are humble and respectful and this creates a happy vibe around the restaurant. If you have not eaten here before, believe me it will become your no. 1 go to restaurant for a curry. The cost of a curry from here is similar to a kebab from a takeaway and my only regret is that I haven’t eaten from here more often. The restaurant is not the biggest in the world but that’s a bonus as it allows the staff to look after their customers and give them an enjoyable experience. I cannot praise this restaurant highly enough!”

“I keep being asked how my visit was by Google but I've only ever known this as a pub. It looks fantastic inside. I drank in there from 1986 upto 1995. To turn this into what in guessing is a young child's pool must have been such a gamble but it seems to have been a very clever one. I wonder if such imagination will go into other pubs that close. But please not another takeaway.”

“I had to write this review straight away, as it was such a pleasure to visit a pub where we were met so warmly, the cask beer range produced in house is excellent ( Tried two & both very drinkable & very reasonably priced ) It was just a shame I had a train to catch otherwise I would have stayed! I will definitely be back & can only recommend! (Trains roughly every half hour from Manchester lovely small beer garden which is a sun trap!”
