“Very happy with my first experience at Ivy today. I'm quite nervous attending the dentist but all of the staff were so kind and welcoming. I was seen by Malcolm and his dental nurse Paul, who were both very efficient and made me feel at ease straight away. Malcolm was brilliant at talking me through everything, making sure I was comfortable throughout the appointment. Kim on reception was also lovely and made setting up my next appointments so easy. Would definitely recommend Ivy, especially if you are a nervous patient like me!”

“To be honest, I am terrified of the dentist. I’ve had some really bad experiences throughout the years. My Dad took me to Greys when I was experiencing really bad pain and no dentist was listening. I’m not scared of going to see Simon, he is always really calm and takes his time with whatever procedure he is doing. Best dentist I have ever seen, hands down. The hygienists are incredible too, Alex especially. I’ve been going to Greys for about 8 years and have no intention of going anywhere else.”

I am very anxious about having any dental treatment but Phoebe is so professional & always manages to put me at ease. “Fantastic dental surgery. Been at this dentist my whole life and all of the staff I have encountered have been lovely and competent. I have had lots of check ups and various treatments over the years and they have always provided me with high quality care. They especially have been very understanding and supportive of me as a person with a severe needle phobia and have allowed me to have procedures such as fillings without anaesthetic at my request but equally have supported me very well when I have had to have procedures such as tooth extraction where needles have been essential to the treatment, even prescribing me with diazepam prior to the extraction to ease some of the anxiety. The only issue I have ever had is that I do struggle to contact them via telephone as my calls often ring out or go to voicemail. Otherwise a genuinely fantastic dental surgery, can't rate them high enough!”

I now have a temporary filling and the pain has subsided...I have an appointment for my real one soon. I can't thank them enough for getting me in. I am a very very nervous patient too, and they are so kind and caring here. Also I'm not an NHS patient (no spaces unfortunately but we all know that's a national issue) and I think the prices are extremely fair especially considering the level of service.”

I suffer from an extreme fear of the dentist due to a bad experience as a kid and every time I've been to the Didsbury Dental Lounge I've always felt calm. “I recently when to this dentist for composite veneers with Dr James and couldn’t be happier with the out come. I first spoke to Laura to get me booked in and she was very efficient and helpful. I then had my free consultation and compared to other places I have been to they do not compare to what Dr James has to offer, he talked me through the teeth whitening and actually showed me what my teeth would look like with the composite veneers and took scans and x rays of my teeth. Once completing my final appointment I have walked out very happy with my composite veneers and received many compliments on how natural they look. “Went to see hygienist,first time seeing Lorriane and Christina for my clean today They both made me feel at ease, Lorriane explained everything she was going to do, explained what's happening to my gums and teeth and gave great advice on how to help keep my teeth as long as possible. Even when I admitted to not doing my teeth cleaning as well as I should she never made me feel bad just encouraged me to improve best I could. No pictures but I am waiting on a travel case for all my different inerdental brushes to do wherever I am :-)”
