“Our ”Tuesday club” went to birdandbeemcr today for the first time. They were 5 of us (usually 7) and we all opted for the bacon bun. Now this was not just any bacon bun - it was filled with crispy streaky bacon, with a cheesy, sumptuous little omelette on top - some of us had it on brioche & some on local sourdough. With pot of freshly brewed tea to go with it, it was delicious. One of us had a latte which was very professionally done too. They’ve only been open for a week but we’ll definitely to back to sample more great food. Sorry I didn’t take a pic but I’d finished it before I remembered!”

“Thank you for the incredible food and excellent service at Shaam. Everything we ordered was beautifully presented and tasted delicious. I couldn’t help but notice the same care and attention given to the dishes on other tables as well, all accompanied by a wonderful aroma. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to make my birthday special by bringing out a slice of cake with a candle, creating a lovely atmosphere. My only suggestion would be to offer a variety of music, and we did notice a few bothersome flies from time to time.”

“Please ignore the low reviews because they are simply not true. I've had many curries but Mister Ali's hits the spot! Me and my friends spend the evening dining here and the staff were amazing, the food was fabulous and always has been. “Amazing restaurant! First time going to Mint Kitchen as my regular is slipping down hill. The food was ready waiting for me to collect, nice portion sizes, though mint kitchen rice portions are slightly smaller than what I'm used to but all that means is I can actually finish a meal with no left overs. The chicken was really juicy with "no bad bits" (The wife is picky with meat). I think Mint Kitchen is my new regular when it comes to a curry!”

“I would like to thank Mr Saleem and the entire staff for their impeccable service. We went in as a family of 10 as a last min birthday treat. The entire atmosphere and the ' nothing is too much' attitude the staff had really will have us returning and highly recommending this place. To top it all off the food was amazing!! The mix grill platter is a must! The lamb karahi was perfect, the naans were fresh and soft and the kids even loved their burgers! Something for everyone. Highly recommend.”

“I can’t thank this place enough! My car broke down on the motorway and I ended up just outside the restaurant. My phone was dead, and they kindly let me charge it inside. Parking is a big issue in the area because of a nearby concert, but they found a space for me and let me leave my car there overnight. They even gave me food while I waited — and Mr. Shah refused to take any money for it. I honestly can’t explain how grateful and happy I am. The kindness and generosity they showed me was incredible. Truly amazing people — thank you from the bottom of my heart!”

“Good position, high quality food, with a great variety of meals to accommodate all dietary needs. Great tasty and delicious dishes at a fair sustainable price. Wine and drinks menu with several options, including soft and alcohol free drinks. Kind and professional personnel, capable of making you feel welcome and cared about with also suggestions and guidance in exploring the menu. The owner and his staff make the difference, as you can feel their passion, their vibes and their attention in they taking care of all customers. Highly recommended!”

“Mezzaluna has become our favourite Italian restaurant. We love to bring more and more friends here, to try their wonderful menu! The staff are all so lovely and friendly, they even help you make up your mind when you're uncertain what to have! The facilities are clean and well kept, the atmosphere is cosy yet spacious. We look forward to every opportunity to come back! Our favourites are the carbonara and another dish with pistachios crushed and mixed in. Their desserts are freshly made on site and if you get the chance try their profiteroles, you won't be disappointed!”

“This is a lovely restaurant. Went on a Saturday night around 8pm and it was busy but not overly busy. Servers are attentive and food and drink was served quickly. The prices are very good for what you get. Added bonus is that you can take your own wine/drink in (I don’t drink however they do serve soft drinks) Food is well cooked and there’s lots of it to choose from. Went for a few small plates and a large main (Lamb Shawarma). Well worth a visit.”

“The food here is absolutely fantastic, as always—easily the best Indian restaurant in the area. I recently came for a birthday meal with my wife, and though we hadn’t mentioned it was my birthday, the staff surprised me with a slice of cake and even sang for me without us asking or expecting anything. The service is truly exceptional—always going above and beyond. And let me just say, they have the best peshwari naan in town! Highly recommend!”

“You’re going to read this review and think they’re paying me (they’re not!) because I only have good things to say :-) We’ve been getting takeaway from here for years and I thought it was about time I did a review, as it’s never been less than excellent in service, food and price. The food is really great, with loads of choice, and has always tasted delicious- we must have had the whole menu over the years and haven’t got a bad word to say. We usually order a bit extra so I can have it again the next day, which I love, and look forward to from breakfast…! There’s enough choice in flavour on the menu for everyone, plus some dishes you don’t normally see on a takeaway menu and they have loads of veggie options. I totally recommend this place :-)”

“Excellent place for curries. Great atmosphere with exceptional customer service by the team. Curries were outstanding. Reccomend everyone to try the batera (quail) my next dish is going to be the popular king prawn dish. Excellent seating areas for families and private parties.”
