“Chris was very informative and helpful. He knew his stuff about Parker Knoll Furniture! We ordered the sofa and chair and he and Amanda delivered it the next day. It looks so lovely in my lounge. As soon as it was in my lounge my dog jumped on it and loved it. Excellent service. Nothing was too much trouble. Will be calling in the shop again in the future for other goods. Highly recommended. “Had a lovely, relaxing trip on the Judith Mary Canal boat today, from Whaley Bridge travelling along the High Peak Canal,which was very enjoyable.The Atmosphere aboard the boat was great, it was decorated out for Christmas, the staff were all very friendly and helpful, working very hard to make sure everyone was happy. We had a Christmas meal, which consisted of a Turkey batch, roast potatoes, pig in blanket and a stuffing ball, served with gravy and cranberry sauce, followed by a very tasty warm mince pie and fresh thick double cream.(included in price) You can have an alternative menu for dietary requirements arranged when booking. There is a well stocked bar on the barge, serving beers, lagers, cider,wines, and spirits, with tea, coffee, hot chocolate, mulled wine, and speciality coffees, all at reasonable prices. There are toilets on board, which are clean. The trip lasts roughly 2 hours, but to be honest, time went so quickly. hardly noticed . Trip turns around at some point during the cruise, so you end back up at Whaley Bridge.”

They have a small parking which was full when we got there on Sat evening, we had to find on-street parking elsewhere. Though we got a table just fine without reservation”

“The staff at this cafe are incredibly polite and more than willing to cater to the customers' preferences. For instance, I requested a perfectly cooked bacon butty with the fat cut off, and they delivered flawlessly. Moreover, the cafe exudes a pleasant ambiance with its neat and well-organized interior, accompanied by a charming outside seating area. And let's not forget the real highlight - the food is absolutely delightful, making every visit a delightful culinary experience.”

“Really, really good restaurant. Absolutely come here! The food was fast, hearty, tasty and reasonably priced, and there were a few vegan options. All staff members we spoke to were absolutely lovely. I really likes that there were two outdoor seating areas (upstairs and downstairs) that are pretty well-spaced out. Additionally there are hand sanitisers in every condiment bucket. A new employee was being trained, and it was really nice to hear the (strict) disinfecting practices that were in place. My only negative is that a few staff members weren't wearing masks, however due to the rest of the procedures, I still felt safe.”

“Went for something to eat. Great service and a good menu to choose from. When the food came it was top quality and value for money. We went in the dark so found the drive a bit tricky but that would not stop me from going again.”

“Visited Cocos last night with my husband. All I can say is fantastic from start to finish. Atmosphere was lovely, staff were amazing who couldn’t do more for us. The chef greeted us which was a lovely personal experience. And the food delicious. Will definitely be going back again. You’ll need to book though.”

“It can get very busy, that tells you what you need to know. Food is really good, portions are well sized and good value for money. If you have any qualms regarding dietary requirements, this is the place to go. They were happy to call me back and double-check dietary issues to avoid disappointment.”

“Fantastic little tea room. I'm not one for writing reviews, but felt this place really deserved one. Very busy when we arrived, we were lucky to get some comfy chairs in the window. Amazing bacon bap with lovely thick tasty bacon from the local butcher, huge mug of delicious black coffee, very happy to pay £6.95. Charming staff, will definitely be back.”

“I stayed at The Lamb Inn for one night with a friend while visiting the Peak District. We arrived late, but the staff were very accommodating and provided us with the keys right away. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and breakfast was absolutely amazing—definitely a highlight of our stay. The only minor issue was that the shower leaked at the bottom, so the water didn’t drain properly. Other than that, everything was great. The inn is conveniently located for exploring the Peak District, though you will need a car to get around. We even spotted some Highland cows nearby, which was a lovely surprise. Overall, a comfortable and enjoyable stay—I’d happily recommend it for a visit to the area.”

“You’re going to read this review and think they’re paying me (they’re not!) because I only have good things to say :-) We’ve been getting takeaway from here for years and I thought it was about time I did a review, as it’s never been less than excellent in service, food and price. The food is really great, with loads of choice, and has always tasted delicious- we must have had the whole menu over the years and haven’t got a bad word to say. We usually order a bit extra so I can have it again the next day, which I love, and look forward to from breakfast…! There’s enough choice in flavour on the menu for everyone, plus some dishes you don’t normally see on a takeaway menu and they have loads of veggie options. I totally recommend this place :-)”

“Phenomenal!!! So pleased we passed by this pub on the way home, the service was amazing and the food was delicious, home cooked and generous! Great veggie and vegan choices and sooo many gluten free options, most of the dishes looked like they could be done GF. Veggie burger and roast beef sandwiches both 10/10.
