“After moving to Hale over a year ago now, I had put off trying to find a new hairdresser as finding one you can really trust is hard. So when I discovered The Knot on Instagram, I was comforted by their customer-first philosophy and the emphasis placed on an individual and tailored experience. My actual experience in the salon matched and exceeded my expectations! I was offered a drink on arrival and was given a beautifully presented mint tea with my favourite biscoff biscuits. I was lucky enough to have an appointment with salon owner David who made me feel comfortable right from the start and was so accommodating to my needs. He was so personable and kind, I really enjoyed our conversation, so much so I forgot I was having my hair done! The end result was nothing short of perfect and exactly what I had asked for. I feel so much more confident in myself and I am extremely grateful to David. He is an exceptional stylist and I will absolutely be returning and recommending the salon to others, including my mum who has just moved here and is looking for a new trusted hairdresser! “This was my first visit to Ellis after having seen her work on Instagram for months beforehand and WOW she did not disappoint. I was booked in for acrylics with detailed nail art. Her application of the acrylics themselves was the most comfortable I have ever experienced and she was so friendly and easy to chat with. “I just wanted to take the time out to leave this hairdressers a review. It was my first time I went there to get my hair cut as I was recommended this place by a friend. I’m so fussy with who cuts my hair and always scared if it get ruined as I’ve had many bad experience with hairdressers due to me having long hair and getting it cut to short. I was greeted by Sophie stunning young woman and such a lovely person she did an incredible job and I’m so so happy with my cut and layers. I will 100% be coming back to cut my hair cut done by here again as I was on the search to find someone for the long run. This was my first time in the salon with the lovely Megan, and what a wonderful experience it was. You are made to feel very welcome. I was offered a drink straight away and received a lovely fresh coffee in a Cafetière on a tray. What a lovely touch. Megan was absolutely fantastic with me, and so knowledgeable. Having been light blonde for many years, I decided that now was the time for a complete change and to go darker. I listened to Megan’s recommendation on how to achieve this gradually, which I appreciated. It was so interesting just watching intently as Megan went to work. Well, all I can say is wow! Absolutely love the colour and waves. I left that salon feeling like a different woman and quite emotional actually. Everyone I spoke to complemented me on my hair.
