“Fantastic authentic Indian food. Such a hidden gem that more people should be aware about. It is a husband and wife who run this place and you can tell they put their heart and soul in to each dish and the service they give is attentive and really friendly. Definitely recommend as a change to your normal curry house!”
“Saturday 8th June 2024 Today, I had a good fortune to be in this grand little real ale micropub This pub had some excellent quaint beers on from small breweries. There were good local followers of real ale beers. The staff/owners were really good and knew their real ales. There was also a smashing quiet real ale outdoors drinking area at the rear of the pub. The best real ale pub in Hazel Grove by far”
“Lovely little venue cosy friendly staff will be back.”
“We had a tasty croque-monsieur and tai sweet potato soup. Even the side salad dressing trasted great. Perfect for our bike ride pit stop break. Great coffe as well. Cosy atmosphere and welcoming service.”

“Absolutely amazing party! The room was stunning, the singer was incredible, the food was absolutely gorgeous, and the staff were amazing. Truly the best party ever!”
“We have ordered breakfast for delivery from here a number of times now and I can honestly say it’s the best we’ve had in a long time, every single time we haven’t been disappointed. Food is piping hot when it arrives and is beautifully presented you can tell the staff take pride in their food and service. The little touches make such a difference and the staff write little messages on the boxes and receipts saying thank you, or enjoy etc. Will definitely be visiting in person at some point.”
“This was a really charming and friendly tea shop where I stopped for a breakfast and a cuppa. It was good food, hot and the server was super friendly. Would recommend”
“Absolutely fantastic, can't fault a single thing about this place, food amazing and although we didn't have a cake they looked amazing, this is the club sandwich”
“Stopped off after driving past and so glad we did. Was a lovely quaint place with the friendliest and attentive staff and the food was stunning. Definitely couldnt fault the bill either for the quality of the meat alone. Definitely going back”
“A rare gem of a B&B! Firstly, driving into Hayfield offers some fantastic views of the Peak District. Millie's is conveniently located right in the centre with plenty of parking outside and around that is free. We never struggled to find a space. Rukiya is very welcoming and kept in touch leading up to our visit and on the day of with lots of useful information and to keep in communication with us. She was there to greet us at the door and showed us to our room - Twenty Trees. The room was lovingly decorated with a cute view of the trail leading to Kinder Scout over the top of some roofs. Millie's is ideally located for many things. There is Sett Valley Trail conveniently located a stones throw away as well as the Kinder Scout trail. We also travelled 20mins and visited Castleton for the Speedwell Cavern (really cool) and Mam Tor hike. Lyme Park is not far either and there's also Buxton and Bakewell. Rukiya is by far my favourite ever host at a B&B - I have stayed at a fair few! She really loves what she does and that passion shines through. Her breakfast dishes were all freshly made and so delicious as well as the coffee and sweet treats. The sausages were divine. We also bought some chocolates to take home and try. Thank you Rukiya for your outstanding service. We're now planning to return soon for afternoon tea with family so we can try all of her delicious bakes too! This has to be booked in advance though so bare that in mind. She's constantly booked up for the B&B so I advise you book early to avoid disappointment and direct for the best prices. The tea room is only open on the weekends. During the weekday, Rukiya has breakfast service for B&B guests only. She can also make sandwiches for packed lunch for hikes with prior notice. Can't wait to visit again and also congratulations on being the only halal B&B in the whole of the Peak District. Millie's is welcoming to everyone. The outdoors is for everyone to enjoy and I'm so glad I have finally visited after waiting 3 whole years!”
“Wow! We came here today after originally planning to only go for a hot drink after our walk. We looked at the menu and then had a little walk around but something was calling us back. We decided to sit outside and grab a menu - the food smelt absolutely unreal so we chose to move inside and order food and drinks. Best chicken club I’ve ever had!! Very friendly service and the place was nice and busy which just proves it’s a very successful food business”
“This is our local pub & restaurant and never disappoints. The food is always lovely and Rachel the landlady is such a great host and runs a tight ship, the young new staff are all very friendly and professional, today was no exception with a lovely young man serving us and making sure we were looked after. They are credit to Rachel's hard work. Thank you :)”
“Great local pub, buzzing on a Saturday night. Live artists at weekend. Efficient and friendly bar staff.”
“Great Sunday afternoon at The Grove - fantastic beers, Motown disco every month - great & friendly staff - and the beer isn't bad either !”
“I had afternoon tea for my birthday and everything was perfect and delicious. The tea room is lovely decorated with cute tea pots and cups. We were too full to finish it all and they boxed the left over cakes up for me to take home. Great experience and highly recommended.”
“All the food is great, fresh made. I particularly like spam and scrambled eggs on bagel or jacket potato tuna mayo and cheese. Love this place”
“Very good experience overall. Got the Jerk Chicken fries, was tasty and fresh. Service was excellent and friendly, had a nice conversation with the cook. 100% would recommend.”
“Went to the other kabanas for years. Was told by my uncle to try the other brother and they didn’t disappoint. Manchesters best nihari”
“A true gem of a place. The staff are bloody lovely, knowledgeable and great at recommending dishes or drinks to compliment the food. It's a really relaxed place, the music is great and the food delicious. On the few times I've visited recently its felt cosy, welcoming and homely. I would highly recommend.”
“I've not tried next door cafe but I will soon. Meeting spot for friends to get breakfast food always just what you ask for nicely presented too”
“Terrific place. Would definitely go again. The food was fabulous with perhaps one of the best Sunday Roasts I have ever had. My appetiser was a bit underwhelming and I don't think it was appropriately described on the menu but the main more than made up for it. It's a bit on the pricier side vs a pub roast but the quality is there. Service was very good too. A solid 9/10 overall.”
“This place is amazing, the staff are so friendly and very helpful. Got the wings which were so tasty and juicy and got the steak sizzler which wow it was so tasty, the steak pieces were soft and tender, the chips were so perfectly cooked. I honestly cannot wait to come back and try some more food on the menu.”
“Lovely family originated independent business. Nice cakes to take out reasonable prices. Clean and you are able to sit in other take out. Try the chicken toasties best around.”
“Went in today and had our regular breakfast but also got the chance to sample the new pizza!!! They were absolutely amazing and compared to some of the best ones I’ve had in Manchester! Staff are all really friendly and helpful and remember you from previous visits! Can’t wait to go in again soon for pizza!”
“The aesthetic in this place is phenomenal. I love the Bangladeshi touch to everything. You can tell they have put in a lot of effort and it does not disappoint. The breakfast/food was delicious, my family and I were impressed, we loved it. Staff were super kind and had great customer service. I will definitely visit again when I’m in Hyde”
“Lovely boozer. Probably my favourite in the area. That Chloe lass is an absolute ray of sunshine. Ee by gum I’ll be hoping for a pint poured by her again Sincerely Alan”
