“Dishoom Spinningfields is one of my favourite restaurants in Manchester. When it first opened back in 2018, it was Dishoom’s first restaurant in Northern England, and since then they’ve set a remarkable standard of both food and service quality and certainly left me coming back for more. The interior is super impressive, cool and unique. Dishoom is based on the old Irani cafés in Bombay, and the interior is so large and feels like no other restaurant in the city. My go-to dishes are the Chicken Ruby with Basmati Rice and occasionally the Gunpowder Potatoes. The portion sizes are generous, and the rich spices of the curry are super good — it’s obvious they use great quality ingredients and seasonings. For drinks, again the selection is vast, with my favourites being the regular Chai and the Mango Lassi, which are both really good. There is always a staff member walking around topping up tap water, so you’ll never go thirsty. The pricing is a little high, but I feel it is worth it for the quality. Matka Holders can also roll a dice at the end of their meal to potentially earn everything for free, food and alcohol included, during certain times. This makes it all fun, being able to put the meal on the roll of a dice. Due to having an allergy, I can scan a QR code on the menu for the latest information, and all the staff members are well trained in dealing with allergies. They’re aware of coeliac disease and the danger of cross-contamination, and always keep my items separate from my friends’ when I dine in a group. Overall, this is one of the places to be in Manchester if you’re looking for good food with fantastic allergy awareness, overall ambience/vibes, food and service quality. It’s a place that you can go for a special occasion or even a quick lunch (although a lunch menu / meal-deal offer would make it even more enticing for sure!).”

“Just had a mixed kebab of chicken and Donna meat, it was so good, plenty of chicken and loads of Donna, the bread was thin and tasty, plenty of fresh salad. It was one of the best I have had, will definitely go back and recommend it”

“Lovely first experience, the business owner is friendly and welcoming as when you are seated in the restaurant to eat in they offer complimentary soup which was a kind gesture..I do have a picture but not posted as family member was eating it. we ordered the mix kebab, mixed salad mezze and yoghurt drink “ayran”.. all was nicely made and would go back again and highly recommend.. my personal favourites were chicken kebab, hummus and the Potato salad..pricing was reasonable. The restaurant is a nice addition to Cheadle , hoping to order dessert next time :-)”

“I was put off coming here to eat because of some of the reviews but decided to try it tonight as I am on a course and in Manchester for 6 weeks . I had the kebab sandwich with donner kebab and lamb seekh kebab and a side portion of chips . I ordered online and collected myself . The kebab and chips were amazing , 5 star all the way . Really hot and fresh and good quality food . The restaurant is immaculately clean , you could eat off the floor . The man who served me was lovely , polite and helpful. I was £15 for my meal and it was enough for 2 people so very reasonable in price . I will definitely be back . It has also taught me not to rely on reviews from others as my experience was a 5 star one yet other reviews are very different . I would highly recommend , give it a go and make your own mind up . This prompt service added to the overall positive experience. I was personally very pleased with both the food and the service from Godfather. A local hero for a reason, Pizza Uno prides themselves in giving us great tasting food at an affordable price with a wide choice of food, try their Fatayer, it’s to die for. They are also proud to serve real authentic Mozzarella cheese! Thankyou for the lovely food and I shall be returning again soon.”

“I ordered a pizza and regular fries from Forkys grill. The food was with me within half an hour from ordering and I live a few miles away. The food was great, amazing Pizza and for once from a takeaway the fries were hot by the time they arrived. Very nice chap who delivered the food with a smile. will definitely be ordering from them again :)”
