“Couldn't get through to our normal pizza place this evening. My friend had mentioned Twelve previously so we decided to try it and were very impressed. As others have said, staff are friendly and the food fresh. It is also the best pizza I have had for years - certainly the best I have had in the UK. I very rarely give 5 stars but they are worth it.”

A local hero for a reason, Pizza Uno prides themselves in giving us great tasting food at an affordable price with a wide choice of food, try their Fatayer, it’s to die for. “We visited last weekend with family and friends for a birthday meal and from the moment we walked through the door, we felt genuinely welcomed – and that was entirely thanks to our waitress Nicole( I believe that was her name). She greeted us with the kind of warm, natural smile that instantly makes you feel like you’ve chosen the right place for dinner. Nicole’s service was impeccable from start to finish. She struck the perfect balance of attentiveness without hovering, somehow anticipating what we needed before we even asked. Water glasses never dipped below half, orders were double-checked for accuracy. What impressed me most was Nicole’s genuine enthusiasm for the menu. She offered thoughtful recommendations based on our tastes and described each dish with detail – and she was spot-on every time. It’s clear she knows and loves the food here, and that passion is contagious. Beyond the technical side of service, Nicole made the evening memorable with her personable nature. She engaged with us in a way that felt friendly and sincere, not scripted. By the end of the night, we felt less like customers and more like welcomed guests. If you visit, you’re in for a treat no matter what you order – but if you’re lucky enough to have Nicole as your server, you’re guaranteed a truly exceptional dining experience. We’ll absolutely be coming back, and we’ll be asking for her by name.”

“Al tayyba had very good food, good portion of both dishes which were Qabily palau and kofta kebab on rice. The price was good as well compared to the quantity of food we were given. Ambiance of restaurant was also excellent.”

“Great plate of food for 8.50, photo shows daily specials pick 3 for that price with rice. Lamb masala was mild and flavourful, very tender. Keema peas had a nice kick and the daal was lovely.”

“The interior of the restaurant is really nice and was greeted with a smile by the staff. Very friendly and we were given few minutes to select a drink and then once our drinks had came, we were asked promptly for our food orders. The food itself is very nice, we shared a starter which was lovely and both had different main meals. The tikka masala is nice but does need more flavour in my opinion (I always think a more red and rich masala is super tasty but appreciate every chef does it differently). My partners main meal which has paneer is was lovely. They add 10% service charge onto the bill which many places do these days which I don’t mind at all (as long as they give good service). All in all a great place to enjoy some nice food and great service, we will definitely return in the future.”

“All the food is very delicious and tasty. We like kubaidah and Naan and qabli Palau. The meat is very tender juicy and delicious. The atmosphere is cool here. It's not a big restaurant so it's always full or even fully booked. You need to book it in advance to secure the table here.”

I would recommend everything especially the festive Dhal and rice/ sprout bhajis/ Padron pakora korma/ The world famous okra fries-superb!! Also the classic Burl Puri and the mung bean chatpata/ chole saag and vada pav are all stunning genuine delights. As a regular of bundobust in Manchester I cannot recommend them highly enough.”
