“Amazing home cooked food, such great balanced flavours and truly delicious, healthy menu. Tasted like real Eastern European cooked in the home, which is actually what the lovely host told us: all cooked by his wife. Unbelievable desert, nothing was too heavy, but rich and layered tastes. Wine didn't disappoint either. Looking forward to trying again!”

“Had an amazing time at Hawksmoor Manchester. The team’s hospitality was spot-on — friendly, genuine, and made us feel really well looked after. Started the evening with a few cocktails at the bar, which were fantastic. The steak was the real highlight — perfectly cooked medium rare, juicy, and full of flavour. Honestly one of the best I’ve had in a long while, and I’ve been to quite a few steakhouses! Lovely ambience too — perfect for a relaxed date night.”

“What a place! The location, the decor, the welcome, the staff, the service and of course the food all out of this World. Warm welcome, knowledgeable sommelier who exudes positivity and tells you a fabulous story about the wine, I could listen to him all day. The food is served and explained and is of an exquisite nature. I often don’t even read the ingredients and just try it - and I’m never disappointed. You’d be surprised how small dishes can fill you so much. A fabulous place, and a credit to Simon Wood. We will be back again and again.”

“I recently stayed in this studio apartment and it was exactly what I needed for my short stay. The space was clean, well-maintained, and well-equipped. The location was also great, with easy access to public transportation and plenty of nearby amenities. “Ocean Tresaure Seafood Restaurant is an old and long history Chinese Restaurant in Greengate Industrial Estate, Middleton, Manchester. This restaurant has a very traditional Chinese upholstery with Chinese antique furniture and decoration. A spacious dining hall which it can occupy any banquet by over 40 tables. The Chinese dim sums are good worth having a long - time driving taken from the City centre to there. We took the bus 117 from the Oldham Street bus terminal but it had at least a 30-minute travel. When in return, it is advisable to better have the bus 112 which takes a shorter travel time. This Restaurant has a praise of mouth from gourmets by its friendly and nice staff, quality of dim sums, fried rice, fresh and live lobsters etcs and a comfortable dining hall sitting in.”

“I asked Ali if he could cater for a family gathering I was having at home. I could not have been happier with the wonderful food that was made for us. Every single item was delicious. The lamb shoulder was super tender, the chicken was delicious as was the gravy made from scratch! Loved the sides. Tiramisu and rice pudding were the perfect two desserts to keep everyone happy! “The Black Friar has been amazing to work with for our friendship group's annual Christmas lunch. They made the entire booking process extremely easy, with all the T&Cs clearly outlined from the start. On the day we were looked after by Jess, who was incredible, very quick to respond to any issues raised, never kept anyone waiting, so accommodating with our various quirks (like pictures), and was easy to reach when needed without making it seem like hovering. And always with a smile, of course. Truly, truly a standout member of the team deserving of all the praise. The food at the Black Friar was also divine, incredibly generous portions (that I admit, have bested me) and every bite was a pleasure for all the senses. Our whole group was very happy with the afternoon we got to spend there and we will definitely be looking into coming back for next year's annual Christmas lunch, a total gem of a pub.”

“Intimate little restaurant serving fabulous food, all cooked on order by owner and Chef, Mandy. The paella is the best I have ever tasted but don't forget to check the specials board as well. When everything is so good it's ideal that it's tapas, perfect for sharing with family and friends. Menu prices are very reasonable and as it's BYOB, you save money bringing your own alcoholic drinks. (Edit ; they charge that small an amount for corkage i never even noticed until they replied to this review) Friendly, attentive staff in a lovely relaxed atmosphere complete the picture, making this one of my favourite places to bring the people that I love. x”

“What an amazing venue. We had an amazing night watching three grassroots artists who you can clearly see have been supported by the snug in Atherton. It’s venues like this that make a real difference to the grassroots music here in the UK and without them people would not be able to see the new up-and-coming artists. Ticket price was amazingly low for such great entertainment. Staff were amazing with great service and super friendly with the production staff going out of their way to make sure everything was set up perfect This venue is the heart and soul of grassroots music in Bolton, so give it all your support”

“This place is amazing! I first got introduced to this place by my boyfriend nearly a year ago. Each time we go, we try and get something new but it's hard not to get the same thing each time because we love the food so much! The trio garlic bread is amazing, and we always have that as a starter, and then change what we have as another starter, to go with the garlic bread. The staff are lovely and know us well now and are always exctionally well. We never have any complaints about this place.”
