“Really lovely pub and friendly, helpful staff. Welcoming atmosphere. We came in soaking wet after a football game, and the guy behind the bar was extremely welcoming. “We have recently had some sliding/bifolding doors fitted on our outside bar area. Guy and the team had quite a challenge as this was originally built with the idea to keep it open plan but we decided to close it off. The timber structure wasn’t exactly straight and so it made things difficult at times but this was never a problem to them. There was always a solution and the work was carried out so professionally. All the team work extremely hard and were a pleasure to work with. What a team! We are really happy with the end result and I would most definitely recommend. Great service! Great quality! “Called in while driving past. I have visited many times over the years and have not been disappointed with the food. Plenty of choice of meat and vegetables. They often have a choice of pie as well. I can't comment on the other menu just the carvery. I always enjoy the food when I visit and would recommend it to anyone wanting a carvery.”
