“I visited whilst waiting for a train - the staff were so friendly and welcoming. The menu was clear, and varied with delicious options. I opted for a Jacket Potato with Tuna which was a great size, baked to perfection and served with a lovely salad. This with tea was £6 - great value for money in a gorgeous cafe.”

“We stayed at Native Manchester for one night and I would definitely stay here again. For the price, it felt like excellent value compared to other options in the area, especially considering the size of the studio and the quality of reviews. Communication was seamless, I received WhatsApp updates throughout my journey, from details about the room number and PIN code to notifications that the room was ready and a reminder for check-out. The process was essentially self-service, though there is a reception available if needed. I found the whole system very streamlined and convenient. We parked at Dale Street car park, which cost around £20 for 24 hours, and from there it was just a short walk to the hotel. The building itself is really impressive, it used to be a cotton factory, and they’ve done a great job blending the original industrial character with modern design. We booked a studio apartment, which came with a bathroom and fully equipped kitchen. The bathroom had towels and toiletries (shampoo and shower gel), while the kitchen had all the day-to-day essentials, plus tea, coffee, and even a small bottle of milk in the fridge. There was also an iron, ironing board, and hairdryer in the room. The bed was very comfortable, big, and overall, the space felt well thought out and homely. One small piece of feedback from my partner is that a larger mirror, or a mirror in better lighting, would have been useful for doing hair and makeup. As well, it would have been useful if there was some tissues, like kitchen roll etc. All in all, the studio had everything we needed, the atmosphere was great, and I would happily recommend Native Manchester to anyone visiting the city.”

Particularly recommend wine flight Wednesday: three small (70ml) glasses of wine for a reasonable price!”

“This was our first time here and it didn't disappoint. The welcome was warm & friendly, the service impeccable and the food was delicious. We were very hungry when we first arrived and left feeling very satisfied and happy with our whole experience. Our waitress, Katie, certainly deserves a mention as her smiley face and attentive service really made us feel welcome. I left my sunglasses there and got them back 5 days later. “My recent dinner experience at The Rising Moon Restaurant Pub was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Everything, from the moment we walked in to the time we left, exceeded our expectations. The food was simply amazing. Every dish we ordered was prepared perfectly, delivered piping hot, and tasted incredible. It’s clear the kitchen takes great pride in the quality of their ingredients and cooking. Beyond the food, the atmosphere was delightful. There was a lively, warm buzz amongst the other diners, creating a very welcoming and comfortable environment that made our evening truly enjoyable. What really made the night memorable was the exceptional service provided by the entire team. All the staff members we interacted with were incredibly nice, polite, and attentive. In particular, I must give a special mention to Adam, who was truly great. Adam was not only very friendly and professional, but he went above and beyond to make our visit special. When he learned it was my mother's birthday, he kindly and thoughtfully brought out a slice of cake for her. This gesture of genuine care and attention made her day and demonstrated a level of service that is rarely seen. The combination of great food, wonderful atmosphere, and exemplary service ensures that we will definitely be returning to The Rising Moon Pub again very soon. We had a lovely evening, and I highly recommend this establishment to anyone looking for a superb dining experience. “Flic decided to have a day out in Marple. We started at this lovely Robinson's pub next to Rose Hill station. I am pretty sure I have been here a few times many years ago. Large open plan and plush interior with TV's and an outside terrace, also with a TV. Stairs down to a small beer garden beside a large car park. Three of four handpumps in use on my visit. Went for a seasonal Pale Ale, AMO 4.4%. Really refreshing.”

“Went in at lunch time with visiting friends and all had the fish and chips. All three portions were well cooked and a decent size. The mushy peas were a good consistency and the batter on the fish was crisp. Chips were also well cooked. There was about a ten minute wait for the food which was good. There is a good range of beers in the bar and an excellent pint of Guinness. My guest commented the john Smith's was a little too cold. The Tartare sauce was tasty but I prefer it to be a little bit creamier personally. The premises were clean and tidy and are dog friendly and the bar staff were polite and cheerful. All in all a very good experience and I would eat here again. Revisit 10/12/24 Fish and chips and Guinness as good as my original visit. Keeps the five stars.”
