“Outstanding service from Sherif! After calling around trying to get my coolant leak sorted in my 2018 VW Passat, Sherif was able to fit me in the very next day. I brought my car to him and after a diagnostics tests he diagnosed the issue — a faulty water pump. He clearly explained what the problem was and where it was coming from, then gave me a quote right after the diagnosis. When I asked when it could be fixed, he said he could start immediately. The next morning, he called to let me know the job would be complete by 4pm and the car was ready for pickup right on time. He even went through the old parts with me and explained everything again. From start to finish, the service was excellent. Reasonable prices and so friendly! Thanks so much, Sherif — really appreciate it. Highly recommended!”

“The most accommodating and professional service I’ve had for a long time. We travelled from Bristol to Manchester for a family funeral which in itself was stressful enough. I've lived in Mossley all my life and only found out about the existence of this place recently, but I'm definitely glad I did. Went back today (my third visit) to find a new menu. Food still of a very good quality, but I preferred the breakfast sandwich that was on the old menu. The crispy potato skins were a strange addition. I'm all for not throwing away food, but they weren't something I'd try again.”

“Intimate little restaurant serving fabulous food, all cooked on order by owner and Chef, Mandy. The paella is the best I have ever tasted but don't forget to check the specials board as well. When everything is so good it's ideal that it's tapas, perfect for sharing with family and friends. Menu prices are very reasonable and as it's BYOB, you save money bringing your own alcoholic drinks. (Edit ; they charge that small an amount for corkage i never even noticed until they replied to this review) Friendly, attentive staff in a lovely relaxed atmosphere complete the picture, making this one of my favourite places to bring the people that I love. x”

“Food and Thorn Bistro, led by Nicky and her wonderful team, catered our end-of-year team lunch and delivered directly to our offices in Piccadilly, Manchester. From start to finish, the experience was outstanding. The quality of the food was fantastic, beautifully presented, incredibly flavourful, and clearly prepared with great care. Every dish not only tasted amazing but looked spectacular, taking our event to the next level and making it a truly special occasion. Nicky was an absolute delight to work with. Her professionalism, warm communication, and attention to detail made the entire process seamless. “If you can't find it here it's probably not made. Great knowledgeable staff with a great vibe as they are so damn funny. Heck of a lot crammed into a small space so be prepared to search for stuff. I forget it's there sometimes and go to the big chains but these local people will have the same type of stuff but likely better quality and cheaper.”
