“We drove an hour to Manchester(and i travelled 7 hours by plane from Kuwait) to get my hair cut here, and let me tell you, IT WAS WORTH IT!!! Daniel himself cut my hair and even though I probably didn’t give the best details on what I wanted for my hair, it’s like he understood me and he gave me the best haircut of my life. I’m so so happy with the results, don’t miss out on the wonderful services offered by this salon, I’ve been getting so many compliments and have been telling everyone to try getting their hair cut here!! A first but definitely not my last time coming here! I can’t wait for my next hair appointment❤️ Thank you so much!!!”

“Just been to watch 'Everyone's talking about Jamie'. Wow, just wow. What a brilliant production. I cried, properly cried and I turned to my friend who was also crying. The acting capability was outstanding. The venue, lovely, small and perfectly adequate. Never been to a show at the Playhouse before, but would 100% return. What an amazing night watching some talented young and older actors.”

“We turned up as a party of 5, late notice on a Sunday evening after a long drive from the West Country. Despite the kitchen about to close, the lady who served us was extremely accommodating and we were soon served with absolutely lovely Sunday roast dinners; delicious food and plenty of it, nothing was too much trouble. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Lovely atmosphere and a nice clean and friendly pub.”

“Hidden in a side street is this excellent small family owned restaurant. Sebastian the Italian owner was extremely friendly and hospitable. The food was genuinely the best Italian we had had for a long time (in fact some members of our party even said it surpassed the food they had in Italy). The prices were fair and service was excellent. If you’re in the area it’s absolutely worth grabbing lunch or dinner here, we will definitely be returning when we’re next in Manchester.”

“8 of us oldies for lunch after a walk round the reservoirs. Excellent position both for Delph and the hills. 2 course lunch for £11 and it was good, all enjoyed a variety of meals. Good service and busy.”

“Large function room and friendly staff. There is also a large beer garden on the side of the pub and a carpark. Ideal place for a quick catch up with friends or a quick pint with the family. The weavers arms also likes to entertain and have charity events and jam nights on a Wednesday, highly recommended if you like live music or play an instrument or just do a little karaoke. They have a tap room with a pool table and darts board and also have teams that play for the pub. Good atmosphere and good people if you're looking for a new local, I recently had a surprise party there and it was an awesome night.”

“My wife and I came for lunch, having previously visited for drinks a few weeks ago. We are trying all the local eateries as we will shortly be moving here. The staff were very welcoming and attentive and it all seemed very well organised. The food was excellent and we both really enjoyed the Sunday Dinner menu which was available on bank holiday Monday. Decor is really nice and the pub has a welcoming feel. Nice to see dogs are welcomed in the bar and garden areas. Will most definately be returning”

“Had a few roasts in the old venue which were stunning Been few times at the old cock and Sundays roasts fab too - I do miss the lamb shanks on the menu but enjoy the other meats we had Have to say the cheesecakes are the best I’ve eaten absolutely gorgeous Would also like to comment the young girl running the floor ( maybe the chefs daughter ) so lovely with a gentle caring and kind approach that always tries to make your experience as positive as possible Only negative be the venue seems so cold :)”

“Been using this garage for a very long time and had about 9 cars and 2 vans in the immediate family during that time that are always serviced, repaired and MOT'd here. Service is spot on and prices are very reasonable for the work undertaken. Never had any complaint. EDIT: Just had my latest MOT done and the above review still holds true. Knowledgeable staff, clear consise info on what needs doing and why. Most importantly very good value for money.”

“This venue is absolutely incredible. I’ve now been to two weddings here and thoroughly enjoyed both. It’s a proper hidden gem tucked away in the heart of Saddleworth, you honestly wouldn’t expect it to be quite so impressive from the outside. Inside, the décor is tasteful, elegant, and beautifully thought out. There’s a stunning balcony that overlooks the main dining area, and the outdoor space is massive, perfect for weddings and, I imagine, other events too. I also had the pleasure of meeting the owner. I ordered some drinks I wasn’t supposed to, but he handled it really politely and respectfully. It's easy as a business owner to become jaded and not speak to people as individuals or talk down to them, but he's obviously a good dude and gives people the benefit of the doubt.”
