“I want to say thank you to Doug for a fantastic recovery for me and I couldn’t recommend Doug and the Altius team enough. I had what originally was seen as a groin injury by the original physio I went to that I got playing football. I ended up at 2 different physio organisations that weren’t Altius, went through 6-8 week groin recovery treatment both times but the issue didn’t go away either time. I went to Doug and Altius and it turned out I had a torn adductor and also a double hernia. Doug put a plan to put a focus on repairing the adductor first, then have surgery on the hernias followed by physio recovery of the hernias surgery. The recovery program was very focussed on building things up, not pushing past where things were ready and ultimately rebuilding strength, flexibility at the right pace. I went from thinking I was probably never going to play football again at times during the injury recovery to now having been back playing for 4 months and have no limitations around mobility and feel great playing again. Very professional, clear on the recovery processes and confident that things would get back to normal after time which helped with my belief about getting back playing again. L”

The downstairs is a tad cold in winter but very cosy, the upstairs is well designed and has undergone a perfect refurbishment. This is a very unique bar and in a very quiet but lovely village :) I love it here!”

The service was absolutely excellent — Vicky and Josh were both friendly, attentive, and made us feel really welcome from the moment we arrived. A big thank you also to the night manager, David, who made sure everything ran smoothly and added a personal touch to the evening. The food was spot on — the scampi was perfectly cooked, the fish and chips were crisp and delicious, and the deserts were absolutely lovely. Everything was fresh, piping hot, and full of flavour. “Perfect little coffee stop for lunch & a quick caffeine hit! In the outskirts of the city for the day, I only had a short hour to find somewhere to eat & drink - Capuchin was the perfect little location! I initially walked past the door the first time, looking inside but being informed to go someplace else (close-by) which was supposedly the place to go... It was meant to be though because this location was being re-furbished & therefore, I came back here & was glad I did. The food was delicious & the coffee even better! I was served quickly with a friendly smile & the food didn't take too long to come out either. I can't remember how much it all came to but it wasn't a bad price & something totally expected for a good quality brunch & coffee. Would return & recommend a lot in what seems to be a competitive little corner (street). Well done guys!”
