“Amazing friendly shop. Went along today after seeing many reviews on social media me and the family were not disappointed. New tropical tank purchased staff so friendly and very helpful. No silly questions and the help and advice was amazing. We had a look at the fish to go into our new tank and will be returning next weekend for the starter crew lol. “This place deserves 5 stars. Firstly upon entering the place was greeted by such a lovely and happy Chinese lady. They really do treat you like you are a valued customer. However regardless of this the food. Out of the hundreds of Chinese takeaways I've tried around the uk the food is the BEST. For my order I was told there would be a 15 minute wait. Yes they really did cook everything fresh. Even when I entered the building the lady was making something from scratch. When I got home the food was unbelievable. Sweet and sour chicken, the chicken batter still crispy it was so fresh. And it literally melted in my mouth. The ribs, crispy and extremely meaty, full of meat! The homemade spring rolls were the nicest I've ever tried. Unreal. And everything else we ate was just so fresh and full of flavour Another amazing thing, I didn't get that extreme thirst which you usually get from Chinese takeaways - most likely since the food is homemade and not from packets or jarred sauces. And lastly, pricing. I mean the prices are like they were years ago. Usually a £45 order cost us £29 today I honestly wish that this place gets the recognition it deserves because it really is the best in every possible aspect. Thank you so much pearl garden. “I recently had my car service and MOT done elsewhere, and although it passed I had a couple of advisories. I decided to go to ATS for new tyres, and also to have my brakes checked. Ben was really helpful and got all four tyres changed in under an hour, and also had a look at my brakes. I was asked to take it back in a couple of days later to have the brakes stripped and cleaned as none of the components needed replacing. The job was done quickly, and my car feels fantastic now, and best of all it was a lot cheaper than if the original garage had persuaded me to replace my brake pads unnecessarily. Many thanks to Ben for his fantastic work. Will definitely return.”

“We went on Saturday 20th Sept despite the terrible weather. Table for four. The food was amazing as always, great choice starters and mains. I often skip lunch when going here to enjoy the duck and pancakes, as well as a main never disappoints. Fillet steak Cantonese is always a good choice. Great service and kindness . They have added an internal porch to reduce drafts for the winter . Very well tested last night in the weather. Enjoyed the evening thank you”

“Picked this place randomly off just eat and its been our go to ever since. Great saagwala. Visited for pick up the other day really clean and well presented establishment. Was advised to order direct through them by phone/website as if the orders about twenty pounds they will likely throw in some extras which they don't for just eat”

“I've been going to The Urmston regularly for almost 10 years now! My friends and I started going to the Pub Quiz there on Thursdays back in 2016 and we still go to this day! We've made many friends through the quiz and we love all of the locals too. The staff here have always made us feel welcome and that's why we still go week in, week out! Plus, the food is really good too! My family and I often enjoy dropping in for a Sunday dinner now and again.”

“I am a retail customer, not a tradesperson. I called into TP Urmston looking for some information on types of brick. Was helped by Paul, who offered his advice unprompted, but very welcome. He immediately called up our house on ‘street view’ in order to give his opinion on what type of bricks may suit, proactive and effective. He then described various examples that they had on display and finally gave us some product samples to use. I was really impressed with how he handled this, as even though no direct sale was forthcoming, he was prepared to spend 15 minutes to help me and my wife understand a little bit more about what is available and which brick styles to consider. This is top class customer service and I hope to be able to direct business to them if I can. A big firm, but a local business.”

“There's a welcoming atmosphere at Move Urmston. A good variety of classes is on offer. The instructors are very welcomin g and explain how to take part really clearly. The changing facilities are clean and modern. I would say it's really good value for money. I've never used the swimming pool, so can't comment on that, but it looks modern. There's a nice seating area with cafe in the entrance area.”
