“Our first time here yesterday and I so wish we had visited previously. The service by Ricardo and the attention to detail and food was excellent. The monk fish as the main was recommended by Ricardo was perfect! Will definitely be going back - the prices for two with two starters, two mains and a bottle of wine just over £60 - absolute value for money and so reasonable.”

“Our ”Tuesday club” went to birdandbeemcr today for the first time. They were 5 of us (usually 7) and we all opted for the bacon bun. Now this was not just any bacon bun - it was filled with crispy streaky bacon, with a cheesy, sumptuous little omelette on top - some of us had it on brioche & some on local sourdough. With pot of freshly brewed tea to go with it, it was delicious. One of us had a latte which was very professionally done too. They’ve only been open for a week but we’ll definitely to back to sample more great food. Sorry I didn’t take a pic but I’d finished it before I remembered!”

“Ordered through uber , first time trying the £9.50 chicken burger meal deal , which was the burger , chips , donner and a can. Everything arrived quite quickly and was fresh and tasty . The portion size was very generous too. Very good value for money. Would definitely recommend.”

“Went here on a Saturday night for my husband's birthday. Overall, a lovely night and a very nice place to spend it. The staff were friendly and attentive and service was fast. I was a bit disappointed that there was only one choice of risotto, a vegetarian one, so I had that. Must say, it was delicious and lifted to a higher level by the side dish of stir fried chilli veg. We were a party of 8 and everyone enjoyed their meals, though the lobster ravioli was reported to be a bit bland. The staff made an effort to mark the birthday, even though we hadn't told them about it! We would definitely go back, as we had a most enjoyable, if slightly expensive evening.”

Also tried the mixed vegetable pilau for a change and oh my gosh it was gorgeous, you could eat it for a meal in itself, it's full of spices and flavour. I was very tired and paid for delivery even though I only live up the street and it came faster than expected which was much appreciated.”

First time in Arndale shopping centre and Doner Shack, we enjoyed the food. The doner/bread nice and crunchy on the outside, fair portion, but when we got the fries kebab that was like a 2 people portion, huge and very tasty.”

“We had a meal here on Saturday night to celebrate Mothers Day with the in-laws. We cannot fault anything. Service was spot on, the food was incredible, and the drinks menu was great. I had the prawn salad to start and the lamb for main. All perfect. My wife is a vegetarian and was very pleased with everything on offer. I generally find beers in restaurants are very average on choice, and especially draught beer in restaurants to be flat, or not poured correctly, but I was in for a surprise. Not just the fact they had Neck Oil on the menu on draught, but it was a very good pint. If I had to give 6 stars I would. Very impressed.”

“Stopped in the Arndale Market for some lunch. We settled on a chicken gyros from Zorbas as it’s one of our favourite cuisines. The food was prepped in front of us, and was hot and fresh and delicious. The staff were really friendly too and we would recommend trying this option for lunch!”
