Beauty type settings had never really been my thing or somewhere I’d felt comfortable but I’d seen a friend get some amazing nails done by her and thought I’d try. “This week I did 1-1 training with Kirby at Vintage nail and beauty in Manchester Salford. First of all her training academy is perfection!! Her knowledge and salon experience for clients is next level and it was fantastic to learn from her. On the day we went through different applications of biab nails, correct use of a efile and all the bits, product knowledge, how to build on my technique and so much more. Kirby has so much experience and has been on so many courses herself in the past, she really has all the knowledge to pass on! “I love this place, what an absolute gem. Been going here for years and it’s always like coming home to friends. My nails are always perfect. The audacity of some young girls leaving bad reviews for gorgeous small local businesses is laughable! Please ignore the teenagers in the reviews, they seemingly got upset because they don’t understand the need for local businesses to put in place cancellation policies, to protect the income of their staff. And then the friends of this girl started a pile on! Shame on them. Please respect local business policies girls, don’t hurt such a great place with your lies. Let’s be kind. :)”

“Just had my first ever experience having BIAB extension nails done by Milly. Love my new nails! There was so much choice for colours & for my first try I’ve got Pacific (which is like a teal green colour). Milly was really professional & talked me through the various options. Looking forward to going back & trying a sparkly colour or maybe french?!”

“Have had the same hairdresser fir over 30 years so was nervous going to a new one. I had walked past a few times and always busy so that was a good sign. There was no need to be nervous as Stacy made me feel really welcome. Everyone who works there are very funny and welcoming. Stacy did a really great job on my hair, great cut and colour. I was really impressed. There is also a girl who works there who dried and styled my hair. So friendly and kind. They also make a good brew.”

“Excellent service I take my daughter to get hair done. My daughter has a sensitive scalp and it hurts her to comb her hair. the staff are good with her and she doesn't cry when they comb her hair. I also used one of their specialist oils for my hair which was thinning and nearly balled I have noticed a significant Improvement in hair growth around that area of my head. Outstanding place friendly staff.”

“I came here for threading and the service was good, the girl who did my brows did a great job. The prices are also very cheap, especially compared to city centre salons. There’s no parking but there are a few side streets behind the shop to park. Booking is easy via Treatwell, so will be back for threading again next time”
