“Such an excellent experience at Wilmslow Hospital. I was extremely worried about a health issue which was causing me sleepless nights waiting for an NHS appointment. Rang Wilmslow and was seen by the consultant 6pm that night. Amazing service! The consultant was so friendly and put me at ease as I was getting a bit upset. After an examination I was reassured that everything was fine. But I was glad of the further scan that I chose to have to have 100% certainty and totally put my mind at rest. I came out walking on air. To have that peace of mind was priceless and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Wilmslow Hospital. All the staff were very caring, professional & friendly and the facilities are excellent.”

After struggling with severe pain from my coil for weeks—so bad I couldn't even go to work—I was growing increasingly frustrated with the NHS's long waiting times. Thankfully, I found Mr. Maiti, who turned my situation around. From our initial consultation to the scan, Mr. Maiti was incredibly thorough and reassuring. He quickly located my coil and, within just two minutes, removed it. Yes, it was painful, but honestly, I was expecting much worse. He clearly explained the process and offered options for local anesthetic, leaving the decision up to me, which I really appreciated. A big shoutout to the nurse who held my hand during the procedure and helped keep me distracted—you made a difference!
