He attended a couple of different taster sessions so he could decide where he wanted to learn and chose Aura. He has had a few different tutors along the way but has connected well with them which is important for him to engage fully. Regular updates on the school and lesson notes shared so we can see how he continues to progress.”

Our hope was that he’d find a friendly and diverse environment where any learning needs could be quickly identified and addressed. Although our primary focus was an emphasis good pastoral care and holistic development versus pure academic targets, we’ve been happy to note that he performs well above a broad group of his peers in this aspect. He has been stretched in areas where he was strong and supported in those he currently struggled with. As a consequence, he no longer finds mathematics onerous and takes pleasure in demonstrating his skills.
