The studio has such a good vibe about it, all 3 of the guys, Sween, Tony and Louis work really well together as a team, you can definitely feel the love the studio! “Simon was absolutely amazing! My finger was swollen, my ring stuck and I was in a lot of discomfort, but he kindly helped me by cutting my ring off, and even did it free of charge. You can be confident that your dog will come home not only looking and smelling beautiful but extremely happy and looked after - Chelsea treats every dog like her own, having watched her work you can see how much she genuinely loves every client and her passion for what she does. She only takes one dog at a time and so you are sure your dog receives her undivided attention, allowing them to build a trusting relationship with her. I sometimes wonder if my dog loves Chelsea more than me!!!”

“Finally got a chance to write this review I booked my two little boys for hairdo style (a bit of gel) for my two young boys at Studio 8 barbers on the day of a family wedding. We turned up, and they said we had no appointment and had booked the wrong date (I did not, I mentioned the date twice at time of booking). I was freaking out as the wedding was in 1 hour. The barbers did not offer any advice/help, very cold towards us, and we walked out in a panic. Frantically, ran to The HIVE Barbers and we were welcomed with open arms. Did not have an appointment but kindly offered to help and calmed us down straight away. Styled both boys hair with a little gel, all done in less than 5 mins and didn't even charge a penny. Boys looked really smart, and style lasted all day. So so grateful for a kind-hearted, caring local business who actually care for local residents and went out his way, knowing the circumstances around the importance of the day. Did not profit a penny, yet gained a lot of respect and have spread of this kind, wonderful business. This happened summer 2024, sorry for late review.”

As ever, they were great value for money, much cheaper than the other chain store jewellery companies in Bury, and the staff are lovely to deal with. They rang me a couple of times to keep me informed about when I could pick them up—fantastic independent store. Shop local!”

“Never go anywhere else. Revolving cast of cutters with a few stalwarts who have been there forever. Generally you get the next available stylist but favourites can be requested.. modern styles with clipps prevail and scissor cuts available. For men the Turkish shave is highly recommended.”
