“I am a member of the gym mainly using the one at Sports Village Heywwod for combat classes.the only issue is that instructors for these classes are very scarce. Which is clearly why so many gyms are not using the trade marked Les Mills classes which are the best classes. Yesterday I had booked a paddleboard taster session which was brilliant. The instructor was Sandro and he was very good very encouraging and helpful. We moan about the lack of facilities in the area but if people looked at this web site and used the facilities they would realise it's not that bad!”

“I came here today for a dance exhibition i didn't see. Much of it but what i did see was fine toilets fine to well the ones just of Reception considering it was a Sunday and extremely busy you've done yourselves proud0”

“My daughter has been with Dolphin Babies/Academy for almost 2 years now, from being scared of water and screaming at the sight of the pool to now swimming 50 metres unaided, diving and progressing up through 3 stages. Amanda has been the best instructor ever, shes now like family to us, my little girl adores her and looks forward to her weekly lessons. I can’t recommend or thank the team enough for their constant professionalism, patience and skill!”

Where this ‘Budget’ Hotel differs from others in the field, is that this one is supremely well run, with an array of truly fantastic staff, for who, nothing is too much trouble. We stayed for two weeks during a difficult house move, and The Stay Inn Manchester bent over backwards to accommodate us, and help us during this very busy time. Friendly - Clean - Fantastic. “YOU GET FINED IF YOU DON'T ENTER YOUR CAR REG AT RECEPTION We got a parking fine for not entering our reg at reception, and a member of staff was amazing and got it revoked in 5 mins flat over the phone. Not impressed with the fine or the fact that they hide the parking notices - very sus - but it's a private company, not the pool staff. The centre itself is dated, yes, but it's a great public pool nonetheless. Has amazing baby change for our son and they even put pool toys and floats out for some sessions. Our little water baby loves it here and so does daddy.”

“Went to Sale waterpark to do a charity walk in aid of PSP, had a lovely morning walking around the waterpark. We then had coffee in the restaurant which was lovely”

“Very quiet green area especially considering how close to Manchester City centre you are. Lots of different paths ways to explore and a large bridge to cross to the other side of the river. Would definitely recommend to anyone living near by.”

“Attended a great wedding here and the whole experience was great. The rooms were very clean and the wedding food was superb . I would recommend the wedding service to anyone with a reasonable budget and wanting local feel with a brand to back it up”

“My experience here since I came back after illness have been wonderful. I can't say enough about the staff who act so professionally, they are welcoming, pleasant, helpful and they make your time at the facility that more enjoyable. I am very impressed by the cleanness off the place and how great the staff are at ensuring the covid threat is reduced by their awareness and actions to combat this virus. I have no difficulty in promoting this place and would encourage people to come here, to a safe friendly environment . It will do you the world of good and your health will be greatly improved no matter what age you are.”

“I absolutely love the aquafit classes! I will be honest though, not all instructors close the privacy curtain so that's very off putting or I would attend every class. I had a call today offering me some gym induction sessions so I can use my membership to its fullest. Jake is a brilliant sometimes grumpy but always Yoda like swimming Instructor!”

“Great atmosphere with plenty of TVs so no matter where you sit you get a good view. The MCR larger for £3 is bang on the money. Landlady Emma was very welcoming.”

“I have to say I was quite impressed with this experience. We took the grandchildren to visit Lightopia in Manchester and although it was cold and drizzling, we had a ball. Parking was very easy and only a short walk to one of the entrances. Entering the park was quite simple and the smell of cooking bratwurst and hot chocolate brewing permeated throughput one of the entrances. We bought some light toys for the children and they loved them! The park is well lit and the music playing all around was quite entertaining. I’m seeing a lot of comments about social distancing concerns but it’s NOT the park’s fault, rather all the people who don’t care about social distancing. It really wasn’t a problem for us so don’t let it bother you. In all honesty it was a great experience and we strongly recommend visiting if you can. It’s quite a long walk so be sure to bring comfortable shoes. The snack bars sell tasty food and the salted caramel hot chocolate was amazing! Last but not least, the light show halfway through was also awesome! Similar to what you would see at Disneyland. Have a great time!”
