“This place deserves 5 stars. Firstly upon entering the place was greeted by such a lovely and happy Chinese lady. They really do treat you like you are a valued customer. However regardless of this the food. Out of the hundreds of Chinese takeaways I've tried around the uk the food is the BEST. For my order I was told there would be a 15 minute wait. Yes they really did cook everything fresh. Even when I entered the building the lady was making something from scratch. When I got home the food was unbelievable. Sweet and sour chicken, the chicken batter still crispy it was so fresh. And it literally melted in my mouth. The ribs, crispy and extremely meaty, full of meat! The homemade spring rolls were the nicest I've ever tried. Unreal. And everything else we ate was just so fresh and full of flavour Another amazing thing, I didn't get that extreme thirst which you usually get from Chinese takeaways - most likely since the food is homemade and not from packets or jarred sauces. And lastly, pricing. I mean the prices are like they were years ago. Usually a £45 order cost us £29 today I honestly wish that this place gets the recognition it deserves because it really is the best in every possible aspect. Thank you so much pearl garden. “I recently had my car service and MOT done elsewhere, and although it passed I had a couple of advisories. I decided to go to ATS for new tyres, and also to have my brakes checked. Ben was really helpful and got all four tyres changed in under an hour, and also had a look at my brakes. I was asked to take it back in a couple of days later to have the brakes stripped and cleaned as none of the components needed replacing. The job was done quickly, and my car feels fantastic now, and best of all it was a lot cheaper than if the original garage had persuaded me to replace my brake pads unnecessarily. Many thanks to Ben for his fantastic work. Will definitely return.”

“I've been going to The Urmston regularly for almost 10 years now! My friends and I started going to the Pub Quiz there on Thursdays back in 2016 and we still go to this day! We've made many friends through the quiz and we love all of the locals too. The staff here have always made us feel welcome and that's why we still go week in, week out! Plus, the food is really good too! My family and I often enjoy dropping in for a Sunday dinner now and again.”

“I am a retail customer, not a tradesperson. I called into TP Urmston looking for some information on types of brick. Was helped by Paul, who offered his advice unprompted, but very welcome. He immediately called up our house on ‘street view’ in order to give his opinion on what type of bricks may suit, proactive and effective. He then described various examples that they had on display and finally gave us some product samples to use. I was really impressed with how he handled this, as even though no direct sale was forthcoming, he was prepared to spend 15 minutes to help me and my wife understand a little bit more about what is available and which brick styles to consider. This is top class customer service and I hope to be able to direct business to them if I can. A big firm, but a local business.”

“Honestly I love this GP. Everyone seems to complain about the receptionist but every time i’ve been in there i’ve never had an issue at all they’re all very kind and friendly and very well clued up too! There’s great doctors at this practice- however there is a very small minority of doctors maybe 1 or 2 that you would have to be very unlucky to get. Careless, dismissive and unhelpful - however once you know who to avoid cough Dr Watson cough and find a doctor you get along with and who cares which is most of them tbh, you will have a good experience. I’ve had a really tough time the last month and have had many appointments and they’ve always been so helpful and reassuring. Actually left one of my appointments with a smile just feeling so grateful for them helping me and being generally so lovely. Dr Price is the best i’ve come across she’s the best! I literally never write reviews but I was curious what other people thought and was genuinely shocked. The emergency appointment system is much better from when they used to make you log onto AskMyGP at 8am. Now you can call anytime from 8am to around 12 noon and then that’s when they will start to triage all of their appointments in order or priority for that day. Much fairer, don’t have to be first in the queue just have to have a priority issue. Even routine appointments are quite good now too, longest I waited for an appointment on a routine basis was around 14days. Good for a routine appointment. The late evening appointments eg at 19:30 are a really good idea and very helpful. Only downside is the pharmacy is closed at those times so you’d have to wait till the following morning to pick it up from the pharmacy downstairs. Overall great practice par the couple bad apples.”
