“We stumbled upon this charming Belgian-style bar while out for a few drinks in Altrincham with my wife—and what a fantastic find! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a traditional Belgian vibe that adds real character. The drinks were excellent, and although we didn’t try the food (we’d already eaten), it looked delicious and well-presented. Highly recommend checking this place out if you're in the area!”

“Not able to judge the food (they dont sell any) or the atmosphere (as no one else was in) but the bar itself is wonderful. Only small, with an indoor upstairs seating area & a small section out front with tables & chairs (only good for dry days) Theres also a beer garden to the rear apparently (never tried it)? Although limited for bar space the beer selection is good. More often than not there are 3 locally brewed ales on cask & 8 beers on keg, which usually includes a dark one. Altrincham born & bred Iv'e been coming here since it opened in the early 2000s and despite both it sister bars closing (Chorlton & Liverpool) luckily this bar continues to trade. I wish there was a greater choice, but should you be unable to find something unsuitable on cask/keg, they also have a well stocked fridge with numerous craft ales so im confident you'll find something suitable. Not the cheapest of bars, but far from the most expensive. OK, its getting a little tired around the edges now & the downstairs disabled toilets could do with a bit of a face lift, but all that said I still highly recommend this place.”

“Visited with work colleagues for a few drinks and had a great time. The bar wasn't overly busy and we were able to talk to one another without shouting which was nice. The drinks were good and not very expensive. The toilets upstairs were clean and tidy even though it was towards the end of the night.”

“Very impressed. Visited on a Sunday and took advantage of the 'Sunday Offer' menu which is £15.95 for two courses. Considering the size and quality of the meals this really is fantastic value. “A lot of people will disagree with this as the reputation of the Navigation Hotel is not great, but having just returned from an early afternoon meal there, I have to say it was excellent. The food can't be faulted, it's not haute cuisine, but good pub grub, with some nice options on the menu. The staff were friendly and helpful, and I much prefer it here to many other places that are more popular. Prices are very low, the fact that there are no cask beers is a little disappointing, but I was there to eat, and the John Smith's is adequate. Yes there are screens showing football, but it was not overwhelming and it wasn't full of drunken fans. I would certainly recommend the Navigation and will be back soon.”

“Just back from a lovely themed night at Aspire Restaurant at Traffordd College - fabulous value and great food. Really good prices for quality drinks too. We had a 3 course meal with additional appetisers on arrival and coffee with a sweet treat at the end and 2 alcoholic drinks each including their fabulous award winning Rhubard Gin Cocktail (delicious) All in it came to £50.20 for the 2 of us plus of course we left service on top of that. So pleased to have revisited and looking forward to more meals there going forwards. Well done Aspire!”
