“Frist visit. Feb 2024: Lovely little cafe. Modern, trendy yet still cosy. FYI: cash or bank transfer only. Ordered breakfast take away for my team. Everyone enjoyed the food. And the cakes amazing! Second visit-26/03. Nipped in for breakfast. It was busy as a big group entered just before us but the wait wasn't too long and its a nice cafe to sit and wait in! We ordered x2 breakfast wraps. They were worth the wait!!!!! Super tasty and a decent size! I've no idea how they wrap them and manage to get it to stay together!!! Great visit, lovely staff and a nice place to eat-in. “Me and my family had a fantastic time at this pub yesterday. Dion the Landlady was absolutely wonderful especially with our three children, she let our son put fresh logs on the fireplace and was happy to get him another sausage with his meal free of charge. The food was all home cooked and everything was delicious, the pie of the day was the best pie I have ever had. We had a few games of pool in the pool room too and thought it was great that it's separate from the rest of the pub. We all left feeling like we'd been to an aunties house for dinner rather than a pub. Unfortunately we're not local but if we were we'd be back every weekend!”

“Lovely pub in Old Glossop. Stayed for a night on a walking weekend. Rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. Staff were really friendly and welcoming and the food was delicious - one of us had a roast dinner with amazing cauliflower cheese. The other two shared delicious tapas, highlight was the ribs and the feta salad. A lovely pub, highly recommend.”

“Been here twice and can't fault the place. The lunch special cheese and onion pie was really tasty. Also had a breakfast Omelette here and would recommend. The staff were friendly and the food prices reasonable. Place was clean and had a nice atmosphere. When ordering I was warned it might be a 20 minute wait however food arrived within 10 minutes. The food was hot, loved the homemade chips and fresh salad. They had a lovely children's corner with colouring books and ramped access at the front door. Only gave 4 stars for the food because they only use 2 eggs for the Omelette which compared to elsewhere is a little stingy. Will return again”

Boyyyy this did not disappoint the flavours were amazing especially the Jollof rice the pounded yam and egusi was lovely. some parts of the beef was tough to eat but over all i would rate this a solid 9/10. “Park on the side street, this place is small with two tables so if you’re coming with a big crew you maybe need to stand up and eat, the music is ok but the volume definitely needs notching down a bit. Me and two friends came and ordered the kings platter which came with dirty fries, wings, chicken breast, zinger burgers and more. The star of the show was the zinger burger and dirty fries which was 9/10 so definitely try them. A lil arcade machine in the corner for your pleasure to reminisce old times. Payment via cash or contactless and they also do milkshakes well. The owner is very passionate about the business and he has a team of ladies working behind and everything seems to work seamlessly. I will go again cuz I enjoyed the zinger burger and dirty fries.”
