“Really nice guys and owners, especially the ones working at the back in the meat section. We were new to the area and came across their shop by chance. When we went in to ask them about their meat, they were kind enough to give us a free box of marinated chicken for stir fry. We’ve just cooked it now, and it was the best chicken stir fry we’ve ever had. Miles better than what you would get at a takeaway. Ingredients and spices were all fresh, none of the pre-packaged sauces or spices. More than happy to come back and buy our meat from here and definitely try other stuff too.”

“I've recently moved to the area and this was my first time in the Co-op. Lovely shop to get your last minute essentials, love that they are open until late, even on Sundays! There was a lovely member of staff who was really helpful during my visit, Hessam helped me get an item from the top shelf, such lovely customer service! Will definitely be revisiting on a Monday again!”

“Excellent brunch on a Friday. Great service from all staff (Laura main server). Had the limited time bottomless pancakes. The bacon & maple pancakes were so good I had to have a second serving! Just the right amount of maple syrup to taste but without drowning the pancakes like lots of places. I also tried the strawberry & cream pancakes which were also great (couldn't finish them sadly). Plus had my favourite Raspberry Crush mocktail (the one with orange sorbet) which I'm so glad they brought back (it was on the menu for years but it disappeared for a while and recently returned). Great meal, good location too.”

“I’m consistently impressed with Emma every time I visit this Costa. She always remembers my drink and has it ordered before I even get the chance to ask. She works with a genuine smile, is friendly to everyone, and goes out of her way to remember people’s orders. Emma carries herself like she owns an independent coffee shop, and she represents both the franchise and the Costa brand impeccably. In a world full of mediocre service, she is a refreshing standout. “Came to try this indian takeaway for the first time last night. The chef was very friendly and the service efficient!! Had the most wonderful chicken patia which was a first time for me!! And I think this will be my new go to Indian takeaway my husband had garlic chicken. I will definitely be back.”

“Staying at the attached Premier Inn with family during house renovations. Came for breakfast on reopening, after having watched them spend the weeks leading up to it doing maintenance and cleaning everything. Very clean and tidy inside. Breakfast was great. Good fry up and selection of fruits, cereals and yoghurts. Coffee good too. And the measure of any hotel breakfast, fantastic croissants which came hot from the oven! Joanne who served us was great,very friendly and attentive. Was lovely when serving my young children too. Thank you! Back tomorrow :)”

“Since my review below, management have reached out to me and have confirmed their cutlery and crockery is recyclable hence I will add another star to my review. Many thanks for response. Very interesting place for breakfast or lunch in Cheadle. This cafe is definitely a positive addition to the Cheadle community - making it feel more like some of the cafes in Didsbury. It is very clean and had a nice friendly atmosphere. The manegment adhere to the Jewish community, hence this cafe is closed on a Saturday. You will find lots of nice things on the menu and everything is well presented and clean as stated above. The reason I can't give this more than the 4 stars, is based on the disposable plates, knifes and forks and coffee / tea cups. I imagine on a good day this Cafe must go through a lot of disposable waste. Not sure if any of this is recyclable (but I have no proof) so effectively this cafe could contribute to world pollution (perhaps comments from management will put me right on this issue). It would be good to have notices saying the cutlery , crockery is all recyclable as this would get another star from me. And lastly but not leastly there is only one Vegan option on the menu. As we all know Veganism is on the rise and it is always good to have more Vegan options on the menu. On the other hand for the Jewish community it isn't an essential - but for the public it might be. In conclusion I would recommend this place as it gives a fresh look to the Cheadle community and it is clean. Worth a visit if you are in Cheadle.”

“We tried A Star pizza this evening and it was great. You can tell they only use great quality ingredients, definitely the best pizza and the only place well be going from now on. Good price as well.
