“Amazing home cooked food, such great balanced flavours and truly delicious, healthy menu. Tasted like real Eastern European cooked in the home, which is actually what the lovely host told us: all cooked by his wife. Unbelievable desert, nothing was too heavy, but rich and layered tastes. Wine didn't disappoint either. Looking forward to trying again!”

“We went for our Golden Girls xmas meal so just a small group of 4 now and it was lovely. We prebooked a Monday Evening 3 weeks in advance. We have usually only gone in the day time and the place is lovely and the staff are always very nice. They do the best coffee and we wanted tp try it at night as we hear its a different experience. So we decided this year although we are a smaller group now we would go there. It was lovely with all the lights and decor. It had a very nice friendly family, feel to it. I would highly recommend. They serve Nice food and the atmosphere is very welcoming and not intimidating which is what you want. We will continue to go there in the days for the fresh and well presented brunch foods and the best coffee locally but on special occasions they are also definitely good for an evening visit.”

“Last week we were [invited] to Sotto for "Tales of the Med" with Stir by night which involved bottomless tapas, paella, pizza and pasta Sotto is a fusion of Spanish and Italian cuisines which has resulted in a combination of homely, fresh food made with passion. Our night began with a coktail, the first of many....so the concept for this night was to bring s bottle of spirits which the @stirbynight guys would craft into genius cocktails as we feasted. I was very impressed with every drink they made with my favourite being gin based and served in a glass of powered beetroots, this resulted in a vibrant shokicng pink cocktail The food was crazy. Not just in flavour but in quantity! I have never been so full that I have had to force myself to eat mushroom and truffle ravioli before, it's a favourite of mine and I was tortured by its beautiful smell as I collapsed in a glutenous heap We were served pizza, Spanish tortilla, patatas bravas and olives before a very unique dish was served (The 4th picture) At first glance I thought this was a paella, but it was actually made of pasta cut finely and cooked with clams and parsley. It was very unusual and like nothing I've had before, personally I did not enjoy this as much as the actual paella that was served later on The chicken paella was absolutely beautiful, it was cooked in a traditional method from the region of Spain the owner Athena is from. I filled up on this a bit too much but paella is up there in the lisy of my favourite foods My favourite dish was the deep fried ravioli! Stuffed with spinach and ricotta, deep fried and topped with a tomato based sauce with Chorizo. This was incredible!! Definitely an amazing invention and a trend needing to kick off Overall we had an amazing experience, theres too much food to talk about. Big thank you to Sotto and Stir by Night for having us. “We are Americans visiting Manchester for the holidays. The Didsbury Pub was recommended to us for dinner. We had dinner at The Didsbury Pub on Christmas Eve, and it was fantastic! Steven, our server, looked after us; he did a fantastic job. The Didsbury Pub had a Festive Menu on Christmas Eve and our compliments to the Chef. The food was delicious. The hand carved roast turkey with Yorkshire pudding was awesome. So was the Marmalade Glazed Ham Hock. And the desserts. The apple & blackberry crumble was scrumptious; as was the melting chocolate fondant. The pub is beautiful. The atmosphere was great. One of the best dining experiences in all our travels. Thank you to Steven, the Chef, and all the great people at The Didsbury Pub. I highly recommend everyone visiting Manchester to stop in and enjoy The Didsbury Pub.”

“Visited today to try steak and eggs. The best steak I’ve had in a very long time. It was cooked to a perfect medium rare. Melt in your mouth steak and the chimchuri was spot on. Husband enjoyed the orange juice, recommended from Jordan, and said the halal breakfast hit the spot without feeling too heavy. Apart from the excellent food, Jordan delivered exceptional customer service. He talked with a smile and looked after us from beginning to end. It was refreshing to see such great service.”

“Nice atmosphere and good music. There’s quite a few shisha places on wimslow road but this is definitely the best one. Spent 16£ on the shisha and a drink. Shisha was smooth and flavour lasted a few hours. Would go again :)”

“We visited in a family group. The carvery food was basic and straightforward food. It isn't gourmet food but it was tasty, very affordable and generous. The staff were attentive and helpful. Booking is recommended as it is a popular place to eat. I would definitely go again thanks to the affordability factor!”

“Doesn't sell food so don't know why there is a waiting for food. Unless drinks class as food. Anyway good club fits about 200 people in there and when it's full it gets hot as it seems to be in a basement not quite sure but it's down stairs anyway. Good bouncers on the door. Good place to go for a night out. Only thing is you have to buy tickets online. But other than that Great place.”
