“Took friends here for Sunday lunch, we've never been before and we were very happy with the welcome we all received, even our 2 dogs were welcome. The Sunday lunch was, literally the best pub one we've ever had, plenty on our plates and tasted delicious. The service was also great, a very polite, smiling young lady served us. Lovely pub too, we will definitely be back, thankyou.”

“✨Amazing Indian Vegetarian / Vegan Cafe✨ We visited for the first time today as my partner is obsessed with Chai at the moment. For drinks I had the biscoff coffee shake which was sensational, the coffee wasn’t too overpowering and the roast / blend choice was delicious. My partner had the home brewed Masala Chai which he thoroughly enjoyed, and the pot of tea he received was massive! (We stayed a bit longer just so he could finish it as it was that good) For mains we had the Indian breakfast muffin (vegan sausage, Indian spiced hash browns, and a bbq tamarind chutney) and the Chai Buckwheat pancakes which came with syrup and berries. I thoroughly enjoyed the sandwich, the chutney was amazing and really pulled everything together. Though I didn’t try the pancakes they were gone within minutes. Both me and my partner agreed portion sizes were bob on, we felt full without feeling overly lethargic. Though we didn’t have the opportunity to try them the cakes and Indian deli looked delicious. Our entire meal with drinks cost under £20 which I think is ridiculously reasonably priced considering the quality and portion sizes of the food and drink. (Not to mention the very quick service!) It is also worth noting they seemed to have an extensive ice cream range. All staff were super friendly, the woman serving us really seemed to care about our experience there and we were given customer service you can’t simply buy without there being a true passion for what she was serving. I would highly recommend dining here, and we look forward to visiting again.”

“The best pub we have been in for a long while. We received a really warm welcome. The landlord was extremely friendly, and a great laugh. “We ate here on Saturday 11.10.25. A big family group of 11. Age range 14 months -65 . Every one of us had great food, some carvery eaters, others chose from the menu. The staff were amazing (Trish as always), efficient and hugely accommodating. Even though it was quite busy, nothing was too much trouble. I personally recommend the carvery. It is amazing and the chef had added a shepherd's pie as a meat option, together with beef, Turkey, Chinese pork and roast pork. So glad I chose to have some. Delicious! Our go-to eatery, especially when family come to visit. Thank you and very well done all of you.”

“A fabulous breakfast place eat in or takeaway. They are always busy but the staff are super efficient. My favourite is sausage on toast! Have also indulges in the full English and that's fab, couldn't work after eating it though!!!!!”

“I have Visited Etherow County Park and Cafe with a close friend, we walked around and did some sightseeing and taking in the breathtaking views, Summer Sun and fresh air. Its a lovely place to walk, relax and escape from the world. The cafe was a lovely place as well. With good views, great value for money on food and drinks. Definitely would visit again.”

“Absolutely phenomenal first takeaway from here. I ordered via JustEat, ordered a channa korahi, poppodums, chutneys, onion bahjis and a garlic naan. Delivered earlier than expected, before JustEat even updated the order! Loads of flavour, food piping hot and good value (£6.50 for the channa). Crispy onion bhajis. I'm impressed. Definitely using them again.”
