Root canal treatment in Manchester

“I visited Moston Dental Surgery in August, as I required an emergency appointment for a root canal. My local dentists in South Manc were unable to accommodate an emergency appointment. I spoke with the receptionist at Moston Dental Surgery and explained that the pain was absolute torture, and she kindly booked an appoitment for 11.30am on the day. I was greeted by the principle dentist Dr Muhammed AbdulHussain who assured me that he would alleviate the pain with a temporary procedure. He was friendly, personable and affable. The matter was soon resolved. I was pleasantly surprised that the cost was extremely reasonable, in comparison to the prices in Didsbury. The key factor was that there was no compromise on the quality of service or procedure. As a matter of fact it was of a very high standard and I would highly recommend that you consider this practice going forward. I have since visited on a few occasions to have a dental hygiene and a couple of fillings. I am currently undergoing a full root canal procedure. I have therefore scored Moston Dental Surgery a well deserved 10/10”

“Highly recommended to anyone needing dental work done, the team here go above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable and take pride in the standards of their work. After my false crown finally gave up after a decade, cracking the tooth root in the process, I needed to understand my options and what choice was right for me. From the very first consultation Phil and the staff were excellent, explaining to me all options, possible risks, what to expect and how the process would work. They showed me the scans so I could see for myself what was had happened and what could be done. I chose to go for a dental implant which, given we are hopeful it will last decades for me, is actually a responsible investment to restore my smile. Although quite unsettling for me, both to actually lose a tooth and also to face an unknown surgery involving worrying phrases such as 'drill into the bone' and 'reshape the gums' Phil has seen this kind of problem many times before and his confidence in being able to make it right counts for a lot. I left the building with a timetable of my treatment and the price quoted was the one I paid, it never changed. After a few weeks of treatment I have now had the old root extracted and implant placed in one session, and recently had the permanent crown fitted after allowing a few weeks for healing. It was all done with care and consideration and I am so pleased with the result. The only time I was a little sore during the process was after the extraction, which is to be expected, but I was handed a bag of aftercare products and followed up on by the staff the day after. A week or so later I was fine. I felt nothing as the implant was set into my jawbone, and only a pinch when the permanent crown was set into the gum. Should you need dental work doing then do consider these guys, they know what they are doing and take a personal satisfaction in doing the job well.”

“I was welcomed by friendly staff and made to feel really comfortable. When going through for my assessment the staff we're brilliant. They explained in detail what was wrong with my tooth and what they suggested was best for me everything including the price was told to me before going ahead with the procedure. I now have a temporary filling and the pain has subsided...I have an appointment for my real one soon. I can't thank them enough for getting me in. “I recently when to this dentist for composite veneers with Dr James and couldn’t be happier with the out come. I first spoke to Laura to get me booked in and she was very efficient and helpful. I then had my free consultation and compared to other places I have been to they do not compare to what Dr James has to offer, he talked me through the teeth whitening and actually showed me what my teeth would look like with the composite veneers and took scans and x rays of my teeth. Once completing my final appointment I have walked out very happy with my composite veneers and received many compliments on how natural they look. “I had a niggling toothache on my wisdom tooth for a few weeks now i was in pain everytime I took a bite. I rang the emergency dentist and chose this place as they did earlies and I was off work anyway. I drove 50 mins to get there near enough the motorway. Has plenty of parking space. Receptionist was so nice and polite and I paid for my visit and was told to wait for the dentist. The dentist guy was relatively young and very knowledgeable you could tell he cared and he spoke softly and made me feel at ease and supported. Sorry if forgot your names guys I apologise for that I blame my age I am getting on ABIT lol I told him what was wrong and described what kind of pain I was going through. He x-rayed my mouth and also told me that the tooth in question was all but gone as in there is no coming back or restoring to it's good old days. He said it needs pulling out and I was given the option of keeping it or taking it out. As I was in constant pain for the past few years I just couldn't handle that pain for a day longer and told him I wanted it out to which he replied we can do that. Laid me down and gave me anaesthetic numbed the area and literally when ready he took it out painlessly and I literally felt like all my pains gone although I was still under anaesthetic in my mind I was ecstatic. He put a cloth in my mouth and asked me to sit outside for ten mins so my bleeding stopped and he was happy for me to be on my way, that showed he cared for his patients because normally other places they just do the job and say right we are done and off you go but here the standard of care was shown. He the dentist sat me down and gave me very good advice to which I will take on board as I am suffering from gum disease of years of smoking but I've quit got over two years now. Anyway just want to say what a credit the young dentist and his assistant were. So friendly and you can tell it's their passion to help patients. Gave me loads of confidence just by being in the room with them. Kept asking me if I was ok which was so good. Thank you once again guys and it was definitely worth the drive there. I'm in comfort now nomore pain and I will do everything to reverse my gum disease and maintain the rest of my teeths.”

Dr. Jussab was able to attend to me in short notice and took it out easily. Didn’t damage the nerve and I now feel a lot better thanks to him! Would highly recommend!”
