“I am new to the area and thought to get some essential but had no idea where to go, googled near supermarket and this came up, i had no idea where anything was in the store so asked a member of staff called jack he was so patient and guided me around the store helping me get everything i needed. “I've used Green Light motors for 6 years now. I was recommended I'd go there from a MOT station in Trafford Park after my van required some work. The prices are reasonable and the work that's been done to my vans, past and present, has been great. You won't see advertisements for this company because it's reputation has been built on honesty and hardwork. I personally purchased a van from one of the gang there after my old van had corrosion issues and the new van is a dream to drive. 5 Star reviews are given out too easily these days but not to the crew at Greenlight Motors. I'd personally like to say thanks to Paul, Pat and Danielle for keeping a look out over my vans for the last few years and keeping me safe on the roads. Cheers!”

“A wonderful pub with fantastic food. Been here a few times and it never disappoints. The owners /staff are attentive and very welcoming. They have a great variety of beers, spirits and authentic Japanese sake and gins etc and also green tea, coffee for the non beer drinkers. Food is excellent and reasonably priced. I’ve taken a few friends and family here and they’re bowled over with the food. My Japanese friend have said it’s the best tempura she has had in the UK. Looking forward to the expansion to the beer garden in the back as well.”

“Very nice little shop in Eccles selling lots of Bulgarian food- anything from dry foods and pulses, fresh diary and meat, frozen products, as well as cosmetics and over the counter medication. The prices are very reasonable and staff are very nice and helpful. It’s great to have a dedicated Bulgarian shop in Manchester, as most European shops that claim to sell Bulgarian products in fact have 1-3 products at best. It’s easy to get to the shop and there are places to park in the side roads.”

“Andrew and John ( 2 lovely guys) have done a fantastic job replacing my fence. I was impressed by the speedy response. I rang Monton fencing on Friday afternoon, got a quote on Monday and the work was carried on Thursday. The work has been carried out to a very high standard at a very reasonable price.”

“Aldi Eccles is my local branch when I'm at work. Staff are friendly and the store is always clean. Please can I give a special mention to everyone working today 22.09.25. I lost a very special necklace that was given to me after my mum passed away in 2023. Panicking, as I do, I approached the gentleman on the self serve checkout about 11am and asked if it had been handed in. He reassured me in a calm manner that they may have it. Without giving me any details he enquired with someone in the office who asked me questions about my necklace to make sure it was mine. I was then reunited with my very special necklace. Not only did the team members deliver excellent customer service, they also managed to calm and reassure me. This is why Aldi is my go-to store. I cannot thank Eccles Aldi enough.”

“Got there at lunchtime and it was lovely and quiet. I went for the standard carvery and the other half had the chicken burger. The carvery was lovely and fresh with good sizes of meat. The chicken burger was good, apparently, but the coleslaw let it down. All in all a good quick stop off for a lunch that was hot and a good size. The cake slices were huge!”
