“Always a lovely experience at The Cheshire Facialist with Lorraine. Ive been visiting regularly since early 2024 due to my skin barrier being badly compromised. After spending all my time consumed by buying product after product for years before seeing Lorraine. I was so glad when someone mentioned The Cheshire Facialist to me. She is knowledgeable, takes time and care with your skin and made my home skin routine as simple as possible with only a select few products. Its not a quick fix by any means but i know i am in good hands and i am taking steps under Lorraine to actually repair my barrier and get to the root cause. Highly recommend”

“I just wanted to say, we had an absolutely AMAZING holiday. It was the best resort we've ever stayed in and has totally changed my mind about all-inclusives which I normally find a bit claustrophobic and repetitive. It was perfect from start to finish, despite the odd cloudy day! We had connecting rooms as requested and they made a big fuss of our son on his birthday! “Had a 2 night stay here for exploring the local attractions, the hosts are very Friendly and knowledgeable. A good choice of breakfast items that the cook for you fresh, good quality food too. The local pub just a short walk away has excellent dining for a relaxing evening too.”

“An internationally accessible haven of tranquility providing escape from the city. Dunham Massey is a brilliant green area south of Manchester, well conectes to Manchester airport. A range of flora and fauna make for a wonderful nature trail and forage, or a humble walk passively absorbing the natural landscape including forested areas and open pastures featuring abundant wildlife. On our visit most of the amenities were closed due to a met office weather warning, but this didn’t stop us exploring the vast grounds in peace. They often talk about calm before the storm, but rarely the calm during the storm- which is what we experienced due to the lack of fair weather crowds. I can imagine on more typical days tje cafes and visitors centre complete this experience with a warm drink or a hot soup after a brisk autumn stroll. I look forward to experiencing these on a future visit.”

“I had my first appointment with Jennifer for a bikini wax and Jennifer was really great and very friendly. I was nervous and she put me at ease. However I thought a little more could’ve been removed and I put all of this on an another review and she called me and asked me if I wanted to come back and have what I wanted removed. I said I wasn’t being critical, I was just a little shy of asking. Jennifer was great about it and I’ll definitely be returning Natasha Kinsey”

“It's a fantastic park with something for everyone! The area is huge and well-maintained. There's a lovely playground for children, picnic areas with barbecue facilities for families, and clean toilets that are free to use. Parking is reasonably priced—£1.50 for 2 hours and £2.50 for a longer stay. One of the highlights is the large lake with beautiful views, perfect for a relaxing walk or just enjoying nature. Highly recommended for a day out with family or friends”

“Attended birthday party in the Gold Suite and stayed overnight. Food was amazing at the party and the staff were very helpful. Breakfast was very good value and again the staff were great. Lovely rooms, if a little dated. Overall a lovely stay.”

“This place is a hidden gem! Don’t be fooled by some of the old fashioned decor, spend a night here and you realise it only add to the charm. What do you really need from a hotel, tidy, clean, great service, top breakfast, brilliant location. It may be a 3* in build but you are treated to a 5* stay!”

“My friends and I came to Cottons between Christmas and New Year’s for a spa day and stay, it was a lovely day and all the facilities were fantastic. We had a lovely meal in the restaurant and the spa was peaceful and relaxing. My friends had a lovely stay in the hotel and a lovely breakfast before departing. Thank you to Paul Savage who delt with our booking and helped if we needed anything, we loved our trip! Thank you for a lovely weekend we will be making this a new tradition for our friend group at Christmas time.”

“I've rated this as a five star as I believe previously this place has suffered some bad reviews. It's not a 5 star place, It's not fancy or modern. It was warm enough for me and comfortable, peaceful and a short walk to the train station. Excellent value for money, half the price of the Travelodge down the road. I will likely stay again in the future.”
