“My son said it was amazing and probably the best Indian and I have to say it was amazing Staff all friendly and brilliant with my little man.”
“Krave Coffee is a lovely cafe in Whitefield with plenty of free parking outside. The staff are all cheery and polite and the food is well cooked and neatly presented on your plate. Theres no step at the door and a ramp inside so easy walking for older customers and easy access for wheel & push chairs. We both had the small english and I swapped out those nasty mushrooms and tomatoes (my own taste I just dont like them) for another Grandads Sausage. The Americano was spot on and I would go back here just for another cuppa probably have some cake as well. Lunch menus when I asked are only served on weekdays. The seating inside is very comfortable, and theres also tables and chairs outside. A disabled toiket is also located at the back.”
“Always order from here and it’s amazing! Perfect Pakistani/Indian style street food and made fresh every-time! Me and my partner love the karak chai and the shami kebab toastie and it hits the spot everytime! Anyone looking for a cute spot to have some authentic street food cooked fresh needs to come here!!”
“First time here, as a family we booked a table, and had table service off David who was really lovely and helpful. We didnt have to wait long for the food, even though the pub was busy. The food was amazing and very flavoursome. Not long after we finished our food the staff cleared our table and asked for any desserts, which arrived very quickly. Will definitely be coming back in the future! Lovely staff!”
“Had a large order from here last night. Very good quality food. Lots of meat included. The staff were very friendly too.”
“Really nice and relaxing. Benny is super helpful.”
“I literally forgot to put a review a month ago right after I came back from the opera house, I only had one drink there since I can’t have too many due to my medication. The staff were friendly, I talked to one of them and told them that the bar is really cozy and cool. Might go back there one day…☺️”
“A lively and bustling establishment, with a warm and friendly atmosphere, helpful and enthusiastic staff. More to the point, great food and drinks. Thanks for accommodating our party of ten for Brunch on Tuesday.”
“Very cute little place with incredible food and super lovely staff! Mushrooms on toast were great, but the show stopper was amazing croissant bread & butter cake!”
“Absolutely love the food here proper home cooked hearty food which is actually quite hard to find these days. We come quite often to have lunch and I normally opt for one of their amazing pies and my other half loves their Lasagna. Staff are very friendly and welcoming aswell would definitely recommend to others”
“The atmosphere is warm and always inviting. Gent on the bar is friendly and attentive and the selection of drinks is spot on and the food delicious — pork pies / scotch eggs on the bar and fish ‘n chips Fridays! — everything you want in a great pub.”
“I visited Costa Gatley Sunday afternoon — a clean, well-maintained store with a cosy atmosphere and a good selection of food options. However, what stood out during my visit was an interaction at the till that left me quite surprised, and not in a good way. When I ordered a medium hot drink, the young girl serving me actively discouraged the choice. She suggested I go for a smaller size, saying: “There’s not much difference in size — go for the small and save some pennies.” As someone who has run a business for over a decade, I found this quite concerning. In most places, staff are trained to upsell — encouraging customers to consider larger sizes or additional items, which is standard practice in retail and hospitality. Her approach, while possibly well-intentioned, directly goes against basic principles of sales and revenue generation. Encouraging customers to spend less, especially unprompted, may seem kind, but it’s ultimately damaging to the business. In my view, this isn’t just unprofessional — it’s a risk to the long-term health of the store. Costa may want to consider reviewing training procedures to ensure staff understand the balance between customer service and commercial awareness. Thank you”
“I pass this pub on a daily basis but have never visited until today. The place is lovely. A very old building with a nice atmosphere. The staff were helpful and friendly and the food was amazing. I would definitely recommend this place. Food is very reasonably priced.”
“Visited Grindhouse for a quick bite and a coffee to avoid the usual big chains that you can't move for falling over. Friendly staff and service. Had scrambled eggs on sour-dough and I have to say - eggs are easy to get completely wrong and I was very happy that these were completely right! The coffee was also very, very good. My better half had the French toast and reported that it was "very nice" (high praise!) and just the right amount not to make you feel like Jabba the Hutt.”
“Salt and pepper chicken and rice box delicious”
“Amazing place! Such great food, staff and cocktails are to die for!! Especially the rum punch! Would highly recommend!!”
“I came here today with my dog & it was like stepping back in time to my grandmas kitchen on a Saturday morning in the nicest way . The staff was so welcoming and warm especially with me having the dog . The atmosphere was just so wholesome it really felt like I was just in my grans kitchen . The decor is very very clean & the food was absolutely the best breakfast I’ve had . But hers sausage and bacon perfect orange yoky eggs with load of yoke , thick cut toast . Everything about it was beautiful so it looks like il be driving 40 mins for a breakfast every week . I also went alone with the dog which I’ve never ate alone before and not once did I felt uncomfortable.”
“Random stop for coffee. After visiting Bolton Museum for the Reebok Exhibition, I strolled into Bolton looking around the market place. Up the escalators and to the left I saw this coffee shop. It looked clean, attractive and modern so I checked it out. When I entered I saw I could order a coffee on the tablet display stand. Making my order was easy and straightforward. After I paid, I saw a member of staff making my drink straight away. It was a Saturday around 1.30pm. The coffee came in a paper cup and lid and I took a seat outside the shop but inside the cordons. The coffee, a latte, was great tasting, and presented well. Just what I needed. I recommend this place if you're around Bolton town centre.”
“Good breakfast options. Fair price. Lovely little cafe”
“I’m impressed by the Hazelnut Praline cookie — just the right balance of nuts and chocolate, with the perfect level of sweetness. ☺️ (If I were being a little fussy — I’d love just a bit more of those crispy sugar crumbs!) Great coffee too. Would love to come back! :)”
“Great place friendly atmosphere good beers at an affordable price karaoke on also live music nice landlady and landlord is can definitely recommend it”
“Fantastic pub right in the heart of Manchester. Sam smiths brewery so you know exactly what you're getting. Larger for £2.80 is an absolute steal these days. Lovely country pub feel inside and good size beer garden. Can get busy when football and events on so plan accordingly!”
“It's officially my number one sandwich shop! thank you for your truly amazing food and service!”
“This place is absolutely fantastic for people who have a craving for Ethiopian and Eritrean traditional foods and drinks. I've had the pleasure of dining here numerous times, and I've noticed that some customers aren't quite as pleased as they used to be.”
“Lovely staff , friendly and helpful had a fab afternoon/evening here”
“I pop in when I'm in the area to watch the MotoGP. They always pop it in the TV for me which is great and the staff and regulars are always friendly. A great pint and a great pub.”

“Expensive but came here as had a nice atmosphere and wasn’t too busy. Plenty of choices on the menu and free water station. No complaints and would return for sure.”
