“Ordered 2 kebabs at 18.10. Didn’t come until 19.45 but didn’t realise how bad the weather was until I opened the door. Felt for the driver. Good size portions, donner was lovely. Chicken was a little dry and would prefer salad and sauce to be put on kebab rather than have to do it ourselves but small things. Used Naga a lot and tonight hasn’t put me off.”

“Reliable, Reasonable and Responsive. We wanted to add to and adapt our kitchen (ovens and hob replacing aga, lots of electrics, new peninsula, new worktops, rearrangement of some existing cupboards etc.) . Penny not only listened to and understood our needs,but offered constructive advice and importantly didn't tell us "you would be better to replace everything" or "if we move a unit, we can't be sure not to damage it" - both of which we heard from other companies. There was also a refreshing openness about the pricing, so we could judge options properly, which gave us great confidence. Richard, Mick and Warren turned up on exactly the day the install was booked and did a very good and tidy job of fitting everything. We had a minor issue with a plinth heater after the install, but handled appropriately without any fuss. Project was handled well by Penny and Suzie and any queries were always answered very promptly and efficiently. It was a pleasure dealing with everyone at Byles and I would highly recommend.”

“Absolutely love Snobby Dogs and so does my doggy. We’ve been getting our dogs groomed here for years and they have always done a fantastic job. The accessories available are spot on too, my doggy loves her winter puffer jacket, so does anyone who sees her in it also! The fuss they make of my doggy whilst she is in their care has made her anxiousness disappear and she now strolls in and gets excited that she’s having a groom! The bows on the collar are a lovely little bonus and we have a great picture they took from last Christmas of her in a sleigh after her groom looking very pleased about her new ‘do!”

“Was recommended to this little gem by my son the food was absolutely amazing I had the king prawns on sourdough the sauce was just amazing it was followed by spicy lamb koftas on a flatbread and again it was beautiful it was totally filling meal. I would recommend this venue to everyone. The chef must be a magician as we didn’t wait very long for our starters and main meal. The young lady who was serving us and bringing our food was very busy but was polite knowledgeable about some of our parties allergies and always had a smile on her face nothing was a trouble. The staff at the bar were very polite and smiling all the time. We had a wonderful evening and made our stay there absolutely great. The staff at the venue are a credit to the owner and management.”

“Went on a lovely walk with a friend, stop at this lovely pub and was greeted with a lovely lady called Kirsty. I'm not from the area but will be coming back especially to see Kirsty. Pub was clean and spacious very welcoming. Even got to speak to some of the customers and If you see this Kirsty wonder how that couple got on with there Date”

“Great pub, great food. Been here a few times to dine all of which were great, most recently yesterday. Staff are friendly and helpful and always accommodating. The pub area is dog friendly with a log fire warming the pub, the restaurant is in the conservatory. Not been in the beer garden but it looks very spacious. The food is slightly more expensive than other pubs however the quality of food, venue and service justify this fairly.”

“Stopped into this pub on the way home from a weekend wedding to break up our journey. The chef and host could not do anymore for us. The food (mikes kitchen) was delicious I had a chicken roast and my husband had a homemade pie. Our daughter is a fussy eater they accommodated her perfectly. Staff were very friendly and easy to talk to, as we left they were setting up for karaoke, wish we weren't leaving.”

“Looking for a place to enjoy the night with good people then this is the place. Free pool on Wednesday for those who enjoy a good game with a pint. They also have a team who have won a lot of trophies as well as the darts girls so well done for that. They have karaoke all weekend and then karaoke competition on a Monday which is fun but also you get to see Hyde for some of its good talent. Not often a place for trouble and any time there is any then it's dealt with immediately to allow the good people to enjoy their night. Also run by a brilliant landlord and landlady who are friendly to everyone and join in with the fun.”

“Amazing! Nicola is a the exact person you want to see in a play centre/restaurant. Me and my children were welcomed from the front door (first time) and showed the play area, made conversation and made us feel at home as soon as we arrived. Nicola is clearly a child friendly lady (surprisingly not all play centre staff are!) she was happy, energetic, polite, funny and looked after everyone there even as it got busier. A massive relief to feel like this when you have a child who can be easily overstimulated and the reaction of new adults and environments can have a huge affect on behaviour. Tilly was so happy and couldn’t wait to get in and also spoke to Nicole as she clearly felt comfortable. Great play area for my 3 and 1 year old. After attending many play areas the staff make a huge different to wanting to return! Nicola told us about the sessions we will definitely be attending for SEN. “Very friendly, clean rooms, good TV channel selection. Cooked breakfast was decent. Only slight thing was the lack of an exit to the car park from the other side of the hotel which meant going back via reception, but I'm really being picky there. Staff couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating. Would absolutely recommend if you need to be in the area.”
