“Very great experience. Alexandra park is very family friendly and the air is also very clean. There are hiking paths. Car park. A cafe for quick bites with lots of attractions for both adults and kids.”
“I recently stayed at Premier Inn and had a fantastic experience, made even better by one of the staff members, Mia. From the moment I arrived, Mia stood out with her warm and friendly approach. She was incredibly kind, polite, and always went out of her way to help — nothing was ever too much trouble. Every time I passed by reception, Mia greeted me and other guests with a genuine smile and a positive attitude that really made the hotel feel welcoming. It’s rare to come across someone who clearly enjoys what they do and cares so much about the comfort of their guests. Mia is a true credit to the Premier Inn team. Thank you for making my stay so pleasant — staff like you make all the difference!”
“I recently stayed at Premier Inn and had such a positive experience thanks to the amazing staff. Two team members in particular really stood out – Mia and Chris. Both were incredibly polite, attentive, and went above and beyond to make our stay smooth and comfortable. Their helpfulness made a real difference and left us feeling very well looked after. Big thanks to them for their kindness and professionalism!”
“First time ordering and will happily order again. Delicious food. Best I've had in a while. Huge portion sizes too. Let's just say I have enough left over to feed me tomorrow. I called the restaurant to check on order as had a feeling it may be late. Such friendly staff. Driver was polite and such a nice guy. Highly recommended”
“First time ordering here and the food was amazing, cooked beautifully and so tasty. 100% will order again and I will be making sure to recommend to everyone I know who enjoys proper food”

“Honest, able and thorough, thanks for the free consultation.!”
“Best Barbers in Royton. Owner is soo friendly as are all the staff. Always give me a great haircut and nice chat.”
“Beautiful scenery, there were a little rocky/sandy beach too. Lovely day out. We walked about 5 miles. It has ups and downs, so the surface is not flat which we liked. There was a pay and display carpark but the security didn't let us in as it was full. We parked up the road. Free of charge. Went in beginning of August.”
“First trip to Oldham town centre for almost 50 years! Oldham road once had pubs on almost every corner as you headed there from Manchester City Centre, many from the long gone Oldham brewery. Madge fancied a trip on the Metro and we spotted this pub in the CAMRA Good Beer Guide. Well worth the trip for just this corner pub. A bank of ten real ales. Great vibe plus a front pavement seating area. Madge found a new Oldham brewery..We are Wolf. Bar snacks incl sausage rolls. Great visit.”
“Amazing place- huge portion, flavour filled dishes which taste authentic and at great prices. A really unassuming place, very humble but this is what restaurants should be - the food should do the talking and the decor shouldn’t distract. I’ll be coming back here soon! The service was really friendly and though small, most tables were occupied on a weekday night and it had a great cosy vibe.”
“Country park in Royton with toilets, picnic areas, playground and cafe (only open weekends which is a shame) There's a largish car park but also parking on the approach road (if there's space).Lots of routes that are colour coded. Some are quite steep but if you have the strength to push a pram/wheelchair uphill the trails are wide and in good condition - mainly tarmac or hardcore. There are plenty of narrower trails off these for the more adventurous.”
“Daisy Nook is a lovely countryside escape tucked away in Oldham, just outside the city buzz of Manchester. It offers a peaceful mix of woodlands, canals, walking trails, and open green spaces — perfect for a quiet stroll, family outing, or even a bit of photography. The paths are well-maintained, and there’s a calm, relaxed atmosphere all around. There’s also a small café near the entrance for a coffee or snack after a walk. A great spot to reconnect with nature without going too far from town.”
“Really good park, well kept with a great play area for little ones. Nice to have a tennis court and kick pitch too.”
“The food was beautiful! Really really good. We sat downstairs as there were lots of tables reserved (I'd recommend booking a table if you can) especially if you are visiting on a weekend. The food was really delicious. Dog friendly as well which is a bonus and we even got a sausage for our doggo! Highly recommend!!”
“Diggle lock is a must visit in the Oldham/saddleworth area I’ve been lots of times it’s always great and the staff a super friendly. My favourite at the moment is the steak and eggs with halloumi on the side. The peach ice tea is a must try also!”
“Just like "Cheers" the series only 100%better. Amazing atmosphere. Fantastic hosts. Great bar staff. Great people. Always offers on. The gin bar is outrageous ! . A place , that when you go. You'll keep going back ! Got to be the number 1 place in middleton.”
“A lovely cafe with welcoming staff members. They are in the perfect spot for a bite to eat at the end of your walk. They accept cards as well as cash and the prices are reasonable. A Kelly's ice cream on a nice cone was £3. There are toilets too. Parking can be difficult on weekends but we've never struggled in the week”
“Food is good and service spot on”
“Reopened with new landlord and landlady. Very good pub, great atmosphere and friendly staff. Will definitely be calling in on a regular basis. Updated review.... This pub has gone from strength to strength... Great beer, great prices... Regulate entertainment and food too....”
“Not many pubs like this anymore. Proper homely vibe and staff are always lovely. Always something on the weekends as well supporting local singers.”
“Stunning listed building, original plaster ceiling. Good selection of drinks, plenty of seating. Will definitely be returning.”
“Lovely visit to this welcoming restaurant. The food was very tasty and the dessert just as great!”
“Visited this place as the reviews on Google looked amazing. We arrived for brunch and we were greeted with a very friendly member of staff. The place was about 10% full, which was great for us! This place has a good selection of breakfast/brunch options, as well as many savoury, desserts, ice cream flavours and hot/cold drink options. I eat vegetarian, vegan and halal food. this place is 100% halal. We got the Berries, Pancake Stack, Turmeric Latte, Brioche French Toast and an Iced Latte. We did have to wait long for our order, however it was well worth it. The berries pancake stack that I had Was deliciously light and airy. I could tell it was made fresh. The menu did not mention the addition of chocolate sauce on the pancakes, however I wasn’t fussed about this. It was actually a nice addition to the dish. The turmeric latte was also tasty, and made me feel nice and warm. As turmeric does not properly mix properly with liquid, there was some turmeric left at the bottom of the mug, however I didn’t mind this. Overall, we had a very positive experience at this place and I highly recommend it to friends, couples and families!”
“This is a GEM! One of my happy places. The grounds are very well maintained and it's a delight to walk around.”
“Lovely place to stop off after a long walk and dog friendly great selection of food and cakes and very friendly people”
“Only came in for a quick drink. Decent pub, well off the beaten path. Car park for 15/20 cars over the road. Loads of beers on tap. Food did look incredible. But didn’t have personally. Would recommend booking if going for food - not too many tables inside as it’s quite a narrow pub, none the less, still good. And dog friendly. Decent playlist on, Atleast the short time we was there. With sky sports on tv.”
“A gem of a place, whether you’re enjoying the outside space or sat inside. I an a coeliac and thr menu had some great choices. Great bar too. Lots of outdoor seating areas. Really great staff, friendly and informative. Definitely added to my favourites list. Thanks - lived the peacocks too”
“Visited today, with my friend and my toddler. They didn’t have many options for kids but that’s fine as my son was more interested in a sausage roll from the bakery. The food me and my friend had though was absolutely delicious, really well made. The coffee was really good quality too, a really well made cup of coffee not burnt or too hot.”
